Clan got no more than they deserved and Finnerty needs to take this on the chin 2nd placed team 4-0 up against a 9th place team and they loose 6-4,his behaviour at the end of the 2nd and 3rd period sums him up. He can blame Wilson all he wants but he has his self to blame along with some of his players that took daft penalties at key points towards the end. You could see the Flyers were up for this game right from the start and even at 4-0 down you could tell that the fans kept the faith. For me Jordan Fulton was the leader on the ice tonight and IMO should have shaded the MOM. There was hardly a Fife fan that wanted to leave the rink tonight post MOM award. Hope Frank incident gets reviewed as he resembled a street brawler and worthy of 3 game ban he must be close to a ban with the totting up. Big Matt will want to forget this game but as said before he carries a target on his back the least thing and he is off as demonstrated by no 10 weak calls. Super Mario Laroque should also have been off for third man in IMO. Bring on the Stingrays.............

What a finish to the game, place was rocking!
Fulton immense .... again, big displays from Haines and Regan, big crowd and credit to the Clan fans there in big numbers and noisy.
Flyers pp is still pathetic, Clans first 3 goals were a pp masterclass, Dutes take note!
Frank should be in trouble with the league for continuing to pummel Tommy Muirs head while still on the ice.
Very disappointing the classless Finnerty left the ice before mom awards, I was hoping he would walk in front of our stand so I could ask his opinion on Frank jumping one of our guys, he was very vocal on the physical side of the game after the live tv game!
Bit of momentum into tomorrows game.

how does finnerty get away with his behaviour? two weeks ago it was spitting chewing gum at the dundee fans , last weeks he threw a tantrum and threw a stick on the ice and clashed with staff at murrayfield. tonight he mouthed off at wilson and clapped at him.

Not to forget throwing his clipboard and pen over the boards! Big fannerty spitting the dummy out, it's embarrassing to watch

Great performance by Flyers in spite of the incompetent Wilson. Hanson was watching the game tonight and if he thinks Wilson's performance is acceptable he should pack his bags too. Hope Flyers ask for a review of Franks penalty as a lengthy ban is required to put a stop to his cheap shots.

Finnerty as usual thinks the Clan are above everyone and rules don't apply to them. Why after one of the dirtiest periods of hockey I have ever seen do we have our players being penalised for being attacked from behind and battered whilst on the ice, lots of cross checking, tripping and Braehead could do what they wanted and knew it would not be called, Nickerson and Muir got penalties for being on the ice at times.
Why at the end of every period does Finnerty have to have a "chat" with the officials, and tonight even followed them to their rooom at the end of the 1st.
After Frank was ejected from the game, I thought the player had to stay away from the game etc. But obviouisly not, he came out of the dressing room and stood between the scorekeepers table and our penalty box for a while, that could have been dangerous.
For two periods the ref could not see much wrong with the Clan's playand gave them leeway to foul and attack our players at will, in the third period he turned the tables and started giving very bad calls against the Clan, they disliked it just as much as we do.
I hope Todd calls for a review of a few calls tonight as some of the behaviour on ice was just thuggery and had no place in sport.
Until we get officials that understand the rules and can keep up with the pace of the game we will have the rubbish we currently have to put up with, and how long before a player is seriously injured or hospitalised while Mr Wilson watches things get out of hand yet again.
Awful refereeing, but a great result for the Flyers tonight, let's do it again tomorrow against Hull please.

Great result and great fightback. One of the worst refereeing performances in a long time. Hope Hanson saw just how bad this was. Once again we had poor SNL officials in a supposedlybprofessional league.
Flyers worked really hard having been 4 down. Thought Fulton was excellent once again and Roehl had a good game too. Thought Clan were lost once Frank went off. The disallowed goal was bizare to say the least. How can the ref signal a goal then wave it off after " consulting" with the Clan players and eventually his linesmen. Would be interested to learn how the decisn was made.
Overall ,really pleased with the effort considering we looked well beat after 23 minutes.

The goal isn't given until he then points to centre ice. Well that's how it works in the nhl anyway.

I thought that the Flyers played the better hockey all night, even at 4-0 down we were the team that was on the front foot taking the game to Clan, skating better, passing better and playing with an intensity that we should have been showing in Oct and Nov.
Unfortunately Wilson tried to make the game all about him rather than about the players on the ice and whilst he gave Clan every opportunity to win the game he was equally bad for both sides and how he allows Finnerty to go into the refs room at the end of the first is absolutely ridiculous.
The better hockey playing side won tonight, Flyers were far slicker than a poor indisciplined dirty Clan side but that is the kind of hockey you expect from a team coached by Finnerty, dirty cheap shots.
I thought Fulton was absolutely outstanding tonight, lead from the front and should easily have got MoM.
Great to see the barn rocking when the fightback was on and when it got to 4-4 there was only going to be one winner.
Hopefully there will be a long ban for the thug that is Frank but how Champagne and Larocque got away with not being third and fourth man in is amazing

Early on there was a scuffle between Clan #71 and Flyers #44. Talk about Laroque and Roehl.

I to cannot understand how Finnerty gets away with his behaviour, he seems to be immune from the authorities. He constantly shows dissent by mouthing at the Officials, throwing things onto the ice and slamming the door to the box without being penalised. His language leaves a lot to be desired. I feel that he is the reason that the Clan are as dirty as they are. he is not a good role model for the game. As for Mr Frank he must be close to an extra ban due to his conduct on the ice. This is their captain as well. What does that say about the team.
