Wow. Just wow!
Really surprised with Stars tonight as I thought they would come out flying and put us under lots of pressure from the off but first period was a very nervy period by both teams although both had opportunities to score.
Once we scored though we really settled and controlled the game and there was only going to be one winner.
Darnell was excellent, let the game flow and that made it a proper play off game.
We stayed away from Dundees' garbage and never got involved in anything and played an incredibly well disciplined road game and with us being 5 on 5 for most of the night our superiority came through.
Fantastic performance from the boys tonight and I thought Regan was outstanding for us and it showed how much it meant to them.
Fantastic Flyers support as well and I thought there were more Flyers fans there.
I don't really care what happens next week against Belfast now, its a fantastic achievement just to have made the finals weekend in only our third year at this level

What an atmosphere tonight. The Dundee fans were stunned in to silence. The Flyers fans well out numbered Stars Fans. Apart from the disallowed Goal thought the Ref had a good game. Rawlyk was much quieter tonight than last night Flyers played them off the ice. Big thanks to Coaches, Staff and the Players they have certainly entertained us over the last couple of months edge of the seat stuff or what!! No matter what happens now this season will go down in the History books as one of the greats. Does anybody know who we are playing next? How does it work. Premier Sports have done well out of Flyers this season....

On the way home tonight it looked like there was a continuous line of cars from Dundee to Fife like one big chain. The road heads south now to lace City

YYYYYYYYEEEEEESSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That was a lesson in how to play play off ice hockey, dished out to a Dundee Stars team who just couldn't live with the sheer pace, work rate or skill of the Flyers.
In the first period Flyers never let Stars settle, we were in their faces from the first whistle. Could have went in a few ahead I thought. We dominated the second period and deservedly got the goals our play fully justified. Game over, you could see it in their players faces. Third period was just a time to celebrate.
Dundee were just swept aside over the two games. Cheered on by an absolutely huge turn out of Flyers fans, must have outnumbered the Stars fans? I got into the game 30 minutes before face off time and there was not a seat to be had, watched game from plexiglass. Great view. What a great atmosphere.
I'm elated, I almost burst into tears when I got home !
Need to reschedule a bit work for next week if I can, and then Nottingham bound.
Go Flyers ! I'm still buzzing.

Dundee looked shell shocked. Really admire all those who kept the faith; I was whinging a few months ago that major changes were needed. Completely wrong and they just keep getting better, the second period tonight was really special and I don't think any team would live with that. Nottingham has been booked for a while and now I'll enjoy it even more.

From what I saw of the game on tv, Life Flyers need to be putting a case forward about the standard refereeing they have had to endure throughout this season. Darnell allowed the game to flow and only call infringements when require. They as a team are being seriously shortchanged with most of the officiating I have seen this season. On a happier note YEEEESSS what a result. Believe.
