No issue supporting the club on away games, it's great we take big numbers. I think both stars & Caps openly admit they love having Fife in the league, for this very reason.
Shame our own owners don't feel the same way about the 2,000+ that come to FIA every week

Both Caps and Stars were involved with the EIHL before Flyers joined so they had not taken visiting Flyers fans into their equasion before doing so, the year Fife went into that league they only did so because they had no other option.

We love our hockey in Fife and love the Flyers, its a no brainer for many of us to attend away games that are so close to home.
We turn up in numbers, just remember back to the play off game at Dundee at the end of last season well over half the crowd was Flyers supporters. We're lucky that we have such a large and loyal support what we need is a team that can do us justice on the ice.
Four years into our Elite League adventure barring odd spats of form we haven't had that team yet. We have made some improvements since season one but not nearly enough to satisfy me or many of the other supporters.
The plan, if we have one, for next season needs to be to compete near the top end of the league, to be involved in the mix at the sharp end not hanging around with the also rans. That has to be our aim every year. My guess is that this isn't going to happen with the coaching team and methods we have at the moment so I would be looking at a change in that department and a clear out of many of our current imports.

We're never going to win the league but we should be at least in with a shout of winning the conference. Looks like it's headed back west this season after Dundee won it last season.

I think it would be a tough call for us to win the league but I'd like to think that it will happen one year, Coventry won it a load of times before so it shows that non arena teams can compete. As for the conference we should be challenging for it every year as you say.

Flyers and Clan add stability to Gardiner Scottish teams but in the main Flyers away support. Putting Clan in section F has certainly reduced their attendances at FIA this season some may say we scored an own goal, however there is two sides to it in terms of where Clan put us over at the shops and best seats for 30+ game fans rather than 5 game fans you can debate this till end of time but since this change their numbers have went down at FIA. Depending on what we put on the Ice next season if were competative and physical they will come back in numbers. The Flyers are a business like most sporting teams they rely on cash to survive and in most cases the more cash the better the team, if we continued how we left off last season you could probably add another 500 bums on seats and sell out at Clan games. Dont know who sorts out the fixtures but this year is a shambles. If you had the Erdhart teams doing triple or even double headers to Scotland this is also a cash generator as many fans enjoy these long hockey weekends. This needs to be looked at as it would impove the atmosphers in all rinks It would appear that the Arena teams the big 4 dictate the fixtures worked around their other bookings In a simple world 10 teams you get 1 tenth of a say however the establishment doesent allow this but if thought out better it would be good for all

Things haven't worked out well for Coventry lately, but they keep making changes to try and improve. We on the other hand just keep plodding along with who we have. It took us until December last year to gas Contois when it was obvious he wasn't doing the job.

And to be fair his replacement Rok Pajic didn't last long and we secured the services of Mr K Haines Flyers have never been a hire and fire outfit which could be the difference in a player signing or not The hockey world is a close knit community.
