Flyers A team turned up tonight, no complaints when all pull their weight, not a lot to ask for is it. From entering this league, that`s all we`ve ever asked for. A team that competes and is committed. Any silverware will be a bonus.

A solid performance last night. Game was won halfway through 2nd so it seems we were "saving the legs" after that. Sensible given the trip to Hull today.
Back on track if we win today in my opinion. Why is Nicker out? What's the injury?

Nobody said Flyers had to be World beaters but just as Icysmith said, sometimes the players do not look remotely interested and then like last night want to get a win from the opening face 0ff, it aint a lot to ask for surely.

In my opinion flyers done one great thing they havent done for 2 seasons. They played with fight, anger and passion without relying on nickerson being there on the ice to back them up. Sure he was on the bench. But on the ice the full team played hard gritty hockey werent bossed around, Infact they done the beating around. Happy happy

Davie at Dundee last night Clarkson asked Plumpton to fight 3 times due to his antics and he refused each time, in the 3rd period Clarkson was coming over the Stars blue line with his head down and Plumpton caught him with a peach of a bodycheck ( DIDN'T MANAGE TO KNOCK HIM OVER THOUGH ), the play went up to the Stars goals and the puck was smothered, Clarkson flung his stick away at the blue line and followed the bold Plumpton then confronted him and flung one glove down and asked him to drop his gloves.........he just stood and laughed at him and did nothing then hee hawed again as the Devils man got 2 mins for delay of game from Wilson, not checked the fixtures but if Dundee travel to Cardiff that will not be finished.......lol.

I still can't fathom out how he's 2nd highest in Penalties, he never fights. Basically, you can't ask him, you need to "tell him". I think there are quite a few looking to give him a good seeing too before the year is out.
Wonder if Nicker & Clarkson will have a wee play on Sunday night in Cardiff :-)
