Just to put things into perspective, Clan's win tonight means they have won the Gardiner conference. Pretty embarrassing that they've won it already with over a month of the season to go.

At the end of the first I thought it was going to be one of those nights for the Flyers, a lot of huff and puff without much end effort and faced by a netminder who was going to stop everything that came his way as Brown made two outstanding saves in that first period. I also looked like we were going to be on the wrong side of Craig as well as he called some really soft calls on us in the first 10 mins.
Thankfully that wasn't the case and although the game was nowhere near a classic we had too much in the end for a good skating Hull side that made us work for the points.
Best game in ages by Fulton and agree with others that Fleming and Reber could also have got MoM instead of Regan.
Would love to have Lauzon in a Flyers jersey, he seems to love our big ice and everything Hull did nearly always seemed to come through him and he has tons of skill.
With Fulton scoring tonight it gives us 4 players with 20 goals or more and Reber only needs one more to join them

Can anyone explain the man in the crease call by Craig against Hull in the 2nd period. I have only ever seen it called by Craig and not by any other ref. He chalked off a goal we scored against Cardiff at home in the 5-0 defeat. NHL rule 69 seems to say a man in the crease is OK unless he makes contact with the goalie. Players are in the crease all the time without anything being called. I'm sure Fleming was in the crease for our third goal. Can anyone explain it to me. Thanks.
A player can go in the goal crease if the puck is already there and playable hence Flemings goal. You can pass through the crease at any time as long as you do not interfere with the goalie but you cannot preceed the puck in the crease and stay there hence the game is stopped and the play taken out to nearest face off spot in neutral ice.
Craig made a call last night that baffled a few people next to me and that was at a stoppage of play and a gathering of Flyers players at the Hull net he took the next face off over the defensive blue line to the nearest face off spot even though Hulls goalie froze the puck and stopped play, that was because both Flyers defencemen skated past the hash marks and joined their team-mates at the net......in a confrontation like that they are meant to stay out near the blue line to avoid a potential fight.

Final score Flyers 5 Stingrays 0 Impressive performance tonight. Played some good hockey especially in the second and third periods. More of the same in Cardiff tomorrow night please! Funnily we played the best when Craig wasn`t being a buffoon. No stupid calls in the 2nd or 3rd iirc made all the difference.

Did anybody notice bad blood between Ned and Wands, I noticed a couple of times that Ned giving him a mouthful. Surely not good for the changing room?

I was sat right behind the players bench last night, I normally sit in section E but fancied a change, what an eye opener that was to be able to hear everything being said! There definitely was bad blood between Ned and Wando. What surprised me more though was that Todd was tapping the heads of the Brits saying did you see this did you see that? This is how you play. He also tapped the majority of players as they came off saying good job.... except Ned. I feel for Ned, he had it tough last night, he coughed up the puck a few times only to have Todd bad mouth him. When he returned to the bench Todd didn't say a word, there was a point in the 2nd period he came off the ice and sat on the end of the bench with his back to everyone. He certainly wasn't a happy chappy last night

Ned wasn't as stand out last night by his standards. The crowd certainly give him vocal praise when he is on his game There professional players they have to take the bad with the good Still a good team effort though, Ned has a chance tonight to get another win for Flyers

He certainly wasn't a happy chappy last night Thought Ned again made some poor decisions when he had control of the puck last night. He does not seem to like making the easy pass when it is on - he always wants to go for the big, risky option, which if it comes off looks fantastic. Unfortunately 95% of the time they don't. It put us under real pressure at times when he gave the puck up in neutral ice when we were building up momentum going forward. Any bad blood between players should be getting sorted out by the coach. If Ned was the "perfect" player he might have a point as Wando does make some niaive plays at times, but as the "better" player he should be supporting his team mates not taking out his frustrations on them.

If Ned has an issue with Wands then they should just get it sorted out, or Todd should just get it sorted out. There's no room in team sports for in-house fueds between players.
Probably spilled his pint in Bogarts one night !

To be fair anyone that's played hockey or any other sport will know that team mates argue during games and training all the time. What's not acceptable if true what you're saying about Dutaiume on the bench, he should be dealing with it.
