Actually thought this was one of Cowan's better games to be honest...

I thought it was a good hard hitting well fought game from both sides, I think 4-0 was a little harsh on the blaze. Our second goal when they had us under some pressure was a key point in the game.
Lewis Hook was very good for them and fully deserved his MOM, if we want to upgrade the Brits its guys like this we should be targeting.
Valabik was a bomb waiting to go off all night, chalk up another victim to fall to the fife crowd. He should be given a few games off for the "fight" with Nico, very poor going for a non fighter and continuing to throw punches when the guy is down on the ice.
Our back end is looking very strong right now, Delahey easily our best player for me last night. Another simple but hugely effective performance from him. I would have him Ryan and Nico all signed for next season by now. Brown was solid with a few very good reaction saves thrown in. Great seeing him smiling all the way round the rink last night. He took some real heat in the rink and on here earlier in the season, he has come through it well and has been playing great.
Toby Craig despite what a few think I thought he controlled the game very well last night, He let both teams play a hard physical game and didnt make any calls that affected the outcome of the game. He must have spoken to Valabik about a dozen times to calm him down, obviously it didn't work but he gave the guy every chance to sort himself out. Again just because an opposition player checks a flyers player that doesn't make it a penalty!!! I know that doesn't apply to everyone but some of the reactions to a slash on a stick were just nuts.
Great game really enjoyed the crowd getting on the back of the donkey and big Boris.

At least Craig has the backbone to give the big donkey all the penaltys he deserved (maybe more?) he did let the game flow at times but the whole Goals coming off and no one stopping the game was an utter joke, both linos look straight at the goals and did nothing! was waiting on a delay of game penalty for Broony!

The goals coming off does not need to be called until that goal is being attacked. The referee doesn't need to call it until that happens.

Toby looked back and seen goals were off when flyers were attacking, when the play then went the opposite way he should have blown the whistle to stop play. Brown had to push the goals against the boards to show him that they were actually off. Toby doesn't like the goal judge to put the light on to show this and probably tells the linesmen the same thing.
