2 points from 6 is a poor weekend getting eat at home by 1 goal and in storm shelter by 1 goal You can't say guys didn't try though puck just never bounced for them Next up Cardiff on Wednesday who have lost two straight now Will they lose 3 in a row doubt it very much If we want to stay at top we need to win these close games Giants 6 point weekend but will run in to tougher games

I, like you think they were unlucky to some degree on Sat. They hit the pipes twice and the bounce didn't go in their favour at times. Better application may have altered that because basically we have a reasonable team. Obviously the application was made tonight but has to be shown in FIA. The only way to get the crowds back in FIA. Win your home games and that is a good building block.

Once again we leave it until the third period to play our best hockey and when we play like that teams aren't able to live with us Thing that is so frustrating with this team though is if we get a substantial lead we will sit on that and invite teams onto us so we as fans can't win Still that was a huge win last night considering what Blaze did in Cardiff on Saturday Individual errors cost us two goals, not getting the puck deep when on their blue line and trying to do too much with the puck but we have to also thank the donkey that is Noble because if he hadn't got thrown out then I don't think we would have got back into the game but that gave us life and we took full advantage of it We know the character of this team though and we know that they capable of but we put ourselves into positions we shouldn't and will not always be able to dig ourselves out of We did play much better in Coventry than Manchester although we weren't that bad in Manchester, bounces just didn't go our way and I liked Basara, Basaraba and Cazzola last night but thought Gauthier was excellent Finnucci was a huge disappointment all weekend though

On the back of two defeats this was a great win against an in form Blaze. Being 2 goals down going into the 3rd period it looked like the 3 game weekend was going to go out like a damp squib ( see what I did there ) but to dig deep and come away with 2 points shows character. Ok some of the performances haven’t been top notch, but I really do think that point wise we are well ahead of where we would expect to be, long may that continue.
