Why doesn't TD actually have a local goalie better trained then we wouldn't need an import one, BECAUSE like outfield players he has failed dramatically in that area over his long tenure he keeps reminding us of. Can't stick that to Todd considering theres, what, two British first choice goalies in the league?

Ben Bowns is the exception in this league Sheffield are trying it but not exactly paying off with Whistle and that’s why he is not at Giants this season We get it you don’t like TD #HMV

I've nothing personal against TD but he keeps reminding us of his very long term tenure but has not exactly encouraged Brits to play for Fife Flyers, look as far back as this last game at home, Buesa could count on one hand the amount of shifts he had and Chad had none against the bottom team in the league even though the game was close for a long time doesn't excuse that in my opinion.

And then in the interview after the Panthers match he says that the team looked tired but he doesn't know the reason why?

I'm going to stick up for Todd here. Since the Manchester game every game where we have been in the position to gain at least a point has been very tight. Probably too tight to throw in a youngster.
Most coaches would be congratulated for taking so many points in tight games, especially when we have run without our top scorer and 3 defensive players.
We probably forget that local boy Craig Moore has just about clocked up more minutes than anyone else. An opportunity the Cardiff coaches weren't willing to give him.
No Edinburgh team probably hurts the young players chances too.
The case for the prosecution though comes before this recent patch. Chad and Reece should have been getting more time when we were winning games easily at the start of the season. I also think Jordan Buesa grows into games and needs ice time before he really clicks but if I'm right with that, it's something he needs to work on as well.
Where are we with getting Aarsen, Crowder, Wands and Stofflet back? That will be Manchester back to full strength another wee pointer on how well DOPS dealt with that!
Are there any other local boys like Craig Moore out there playing at a good level?

The bottom line is, Craig Moore wouldn’t be the player he is today had he been a Flyers player earlier in his career. He went to Dundee, got some valuable ice time that he wouldn’t have got here and as a result he developed the skills required to play at this level. At the end of the season I can see an exodus of the young talented players we currently have warming the bench.

Exactly...everyone hugely overestimates the British talent within the Fife system, or more accurately underestimate the level of difference that the elite league is. No one is sniffing about our players. Edinburgh was the only option and that was due to them running out of imports to play every Christmas time. They can either sit and hope for a chance to appear on the flyers, or go back to SNL. The days of automatically progressing to the Flyers from the juniors is long gone. We are in a dogfight for the playoffs, which means, we have to play the players that will either score goals or stop them. This is not a development league.

Craig Moore spent time accross the pond also thats why his accent is not quiet fifer any longer think it was Colts or Mustangs something like that, i agree our youngsters are projects EIHL is not a development league but hang in there and it will come you can lose a game in a beat of a heart in this league even if you are 5-1 up

With the new NIHL structure to be announced im pretty sure they will have offers. Up to them to decide if they want to stay and hopefully get a chance, or play regularly at NIHL level. Must be a far better level than SNL. Time is on their side, maybe if Flyers were interested in their development they could arrange 2 ways with some NIHL teams.
