What sort of game did Aarsen and Issacs have last night? I personally think they are the weakest imports in the side. Both way off the pace, too slow for the league now, Aarsen really bad on the power play, mishandling pucks all night, and very slow, he is nowhere near a 1st line D man, his best asset used to be running a PP, that’s gone now. Isaacs tried hard as usual but caught out all night by pace and brains, conceded the 2 pens on which they scored, lazy out of position stick penalties as usual. But yeah you are right, they’ll cost us more than they’ll contribute that’s for sure. TD must see something in them and know of a role for them to play!

Aarssen with team high shots on goal isn't going to end well most nights.
Beaten by a better team ON THE NIGHT , nothing seriously wrong with our performance that more game time won't sort, better puck management, cleaner exit from own zone and transition and supporting a goalie who looks like his style is simply to stop the shots and by committee deal with what he gives up. The usual judging can be done by mid October.

Never thought I would agree with anything you say but, yip I agree ..too early to judge and with a little tightening up and more games under belt...should be ok

I think it was a poor performance not helped by Glasgow having a couple of competitive games under their belt whilst we had 4 guys just arrived and most likely jet lagged.
Clan deserved the win but early impression is that the teams look evenly matched - they just played better on the night.
I think Flyers may well have upgraded their squad. More size, more mobility and forwards who will produce plenty once the lines are settled. Don’t think we’ll be pushed around.
