5-3 win against a terrible Steelers tonight! Steelers played probably the worst game I’ve witnessed for a long time. Fans on FB & Twitter singing the teams praises for a mediocre performance against a steelers team who played terrible. Only 571 fans in the building! I wonder how many comps were included in that 571? I’ll hazard a guess that 300 were season ticket holder’s too! No cafe or flyers shop open!
Club is a disgrace 👎

Good solid 60 minutes from the Flyers tonight They played with the intensity the had on Saturday v Clan Made Steelers look ordinary and Brust didn’t look anything special Fox will probably blame injuries and bad officiating But there was nothing wrong with officiating tonight.

Well deserved win by Flyers tonight. Can’t believe this was the same squad that looked like they couldn’t be bothered on Sunday. Tonight was hard working from the start with some decent play. Despite going a goal behind, Flyers didn’t let their heads go down and equalised through Thacker with Magee putting Flyers 2-1 ahead after one period, outshooting Steelers 16-6.
The second period was much more even and Steelers got their second a couple of minutes before the end.
Was beginning to fear the worst when Steelers scored again in the first minute of the third, but in less than a minute Emmerdahl levelled on the powerplay, before Benson popped another two powerplays to kill off Steelers. Good to see the team’s smiling faces tonight as they skated off.
Most mistakes tonight were cleared up by hard work. Flyers had at least another two really good scoring chances and were well worth the win. No failures tonight. Best performance I’ve seen since he arrived from Lawrence, with the usual high work rate from a Isaacs and Emmerdahl.
Really poor crowd tonight. No real surprise considering the way Flyers had been playing and the fact that Flyers do next to nothing in terms of promoting the team. Even our local press coverage has dropped to dismal, with no interviews, no previews and not even the scorers, SOGs, PIMS and attendances recorded in what used to be a great paper for Flyers coverage.
Maybe for next weeks midweek game Flyers should try to sell some heavily discounted tickets or have a kids for a quid promo.

The PR side of the club is shambolic, in this day and age that is nothing short of disgraceful!
