Game was a “let’s see who’s got the worst defence and goalie night” And we won. No wonder panthers are bottom.
Entertainment for the supports, but a bit of a shambolic game. Defence on both teams making beer league mistakes. Seen the coach giving it to the d core on the bench. 44 and 62 by far the worst. Starting to strongly dislike the attitude on 62. He might have been a great player a decade ago, but he plays like a bum and I’d rather we never had signed him.

You have made it clear in the past that you don't like "44" but at least you've never called him a bum. No goal judges last night and its diffucult to see if its a goal if your at the other end of the rink. Or indeed if you're the ref! Mind you they would have had repettitive strain injury. A game from the 80s and 90s and hopefully a one off even if a lot of folk thought it was great.

It not the first time this season there has not been goal judges at a Flyers game at FIA, I would not think this would happen at any other Arena in EIHL

[whilst looking towards the bench and then giving it to the young girl…. Not a good look Agreed, vile and immature behaviour Get a grip, only as vile as the accompanying music and whoops from the crowd suggest. Be careful what you suggest, he was playing up to the crowd.

Opinions vary surely guest and G the pro must be the forum police, I get the fact that he's a young boy but it looked bad doing that and then giving the shirt to a little girl Why be careful

[whilst looking towards the bench and then giving it to the young girl…. Not a good look You are reading it wrong. He was trying to do the stripper dance with it. Which is to be expected given the music the play. He’s a kid and felt embarrassed having to do it. Not vile, just a kid not knowing what to do. He made the money gesture on the way back to the team so I’m guessing he was getting ribbed by the boys about it. No drama there you’re right, I see it now. Just a bit of a laugh but whether the girl sees that and not him wiping his **** with the jersey I don’t know. Not a big deal anyway

Coolen said in his interview he was not happy with the defence and that there will be changes tonite, my guess is Owen doesn’t travel and the other goalie is in

And either he’s carrying injuries, or he’s fallen out of favour with the coach. Going by his minutes he’s been getting in games lately. Kevin just flat out sucks imo. -8 in 11 games. But the coach (who knows better than me) obviously loves him as he is eating big minutes. Which I think is part of our problems. Not much we can do about it, maybe he will come good in the end…or maybe he is a busted flush.

Positive last night is we prob saw 2 contenders for goal of the season. The top shelf backhand from 21 close in. Or the coast to coast from 91.

I had a look at the highlights there, and tried to pay extra attention at the Nottingham goals to see who's at fault, after reading poor opinions on Owen, Emmer, and Wehrs. From what I can see I can't say Owen is at fault for any, Emmer maybe one, and Wehrs none either. Most are due to the forwards not picking up men. I can see why folk are frustrated at Wehrs, he's off the pace at times, but I don't see it with Emmerdahl, he may still be getting back to full fitness and slightly off it, and Owen seems to be doing what he normally does.
