Doug Smail without a shadow of a doubt. Over 800 NHL games and still the only player to join a British club direct from the NHL barring the lockout seasons. He was 36 when he joined Fife and was still the fastest player in the league by a country mile. I was originally gonna start this thread by saying - who’s the best you have ever seen bar Smail as he is the obvious choice for greatest ever.

How did Paul’s illustrious career end again? Was it a life time ban? Never saw him play at his “peak” but always thought he was a bum.
Tony on the other “hand” was immense. Didn’t like him, but one hell of a player.
