Thanks, its nice to know that as well as financing import numbers in Dundee we have in some small way brightened up your life..... There is no need to thank me & as for financing our imports I dont think so, If you think that what you bring every time you come is keeping us going then you are wrong. If you guys are getting 1500/2000 every home game I would not be concerned about the number of imports we have I would be wondering why you dont have 11 imports . They cant even get the numbers right anyway, 8-900 there, not a chance, was probably worst away support i have seen from fife at dia, last game wasnt much better either, but playing the same teams so close together will have that effect, gets a bit boring and takes the occasion out of it.

Yeah at the start Casper not during the intermission.
I thought the girl skater was fantastic but I didn't need to watch 20 minutes of midget drills. If it was a 5-10 minute scrimmage then ok but the intervals tonight were too long the 2nd period tonight didn't start until 7.30.
I agree tonight there was a decent support but was not huge and the occasion tonight well there wasn't one, the hockey was poor on both sides.
I am getting a little bored playing the same teams week in week out, it is great seeing the Erhardt teams in town. I think the conference has worked in terms of balancing the league somewhat but until we gain another couple of teams so each conference maybe has 7 or 8 teams then it will get a little boring.

Not gonna argue with that, its the first time they have done it, and me and my gf were pretty fed up with it ourselves. Hope its not a thing they are gonna do alot.

700-800 Fife fans at the game. That will pay for Ozollins for the rest of the season. Think you need to recount mate, 4-500 at the most Aye 400-500 and you reckon that's the smallest we've brought for a while. That's not bad is it? Times that by 5 and its a lot of money. We always take 4-700 to Edinburgh and Dundee and to be honest when I saw Edinburgh with their 11 imports last night and about 25 fans I thought enough's enough. Our directors will never give us a full import quota but I'm not helping our competitors keep their advantage over us any more. Not blaming Stars or Caps fans but us Flyers fans are absolute mugs.

We're too loyal. Sport is results based, but not in Fife, its a job for life as long as you do as Tam says!
We can afford 11, i'm pretty certain of it, but as long as mediocrity is accepted, there is no incentive to change

How would you respond to that if it turned out to be accurate?

As a side note, I don't think I'll be heading up the dia for an away game again. My girlfriend and I had abuse hurled at us and bottles thrown by a bunch of Dundee fans as we were getting into the car...and that's after they won? Too many football hooligans attending hockey these days[/quote]
thats exactly why i wasnt there last night , the last game we took lots of abuse from fans, not what i want for my kids and wife, and the thug of a steward did nothing either.

Trouble is with no transparancy, crowds numbers obviously wrong at times, i just don't trust anything that's said. If we lose money, what chance do the others have, doean't make sense. And even if true, it doesn't change how the club is ran day to day.

Davidgee, If Fife Flyers lose money then the league is bankrupt and i believe in the tooth fairy, Santa Claus and Lord Lucan rode Shergar to the meat market.

If there was no gain, I doubt he'd have hung around. Obviously, just my opinion....before I get shot down in flames
