If we dont make the Play offs will our impots want to come back next year? Is anyone trying to do anything about understanding WHY our away form has been so poor?
Personally , I want to see all the guys back next year but I feel we need to learn to be a more physical team and not get pushed over so easily.

We cant keep the same team for next year, we've got to push on.
We need to bring in some more physical players to be able to compete with the better teams in the league. And we need to develop game play that will make us more competitive away from home when we are obviously out of our comfort zone.

Considering the problems we faced last season none - apart from the coaches - came back. If we do poorly till the end then perhaps we need to consider getting some winners over.

Is it possible that dutes as a coach cannot do anymore with this team? Is it time for a change, different ideas etc? This happens in all sports. I am not knocking the guy, just asking the question can somebody else do better with this team ?? The caps have done great stuff this season with a good few road wins in the southern conference and their team does not look any better than ours.

We need a more physical edge to our game. We take stupid lazy penalties. Would rather we took ones for playing with emotion. To do well in this league you need a couple of guys who will drop the gloves when they need to. Just trying to play pretty ice hockey won't work. The coaching has to be looked at in all honesty especially if we finish near the bottom again. We need a coach or coaches that add steel and the right tactics to win away as well as at home.

At the moment I would switch Haines and Turnbull as Haines is clearly not fit. Actually put him on the 3rd line. He would get less shifts and end up playing against their 3rd line. His injury is hampering the first line. I actually think Hogg plays better with Bobby and Jason. The coaches need to do something to lift the team in the last few weeks.

We do need to try an keep the bulk of the team. That is how teams get better. You can't build a whole new team every year. What good team does that? None! I think if we started with 11 and Todd or Danny were to not play we could do very well. People saying were where we are so why go with the same team? We playe the majority of the season with 9 imps or LESS. Hardly the same team is it? I think the exact team we have now an change maybe Danny or Todd for a more physical guy and you would see a pretty high placing! Anyway it's irrelevant as all the guys won't stay. I'd hope to keep atleast 6 to be honest and then build on.

See me post above because quite frankly what you have posted here is wrong. What's "wrong" about what I have posted? I didn't offer an opinion, I was questioning your reasoning. I didn't say ditch the entire team and start again, did I? Changing 1 player wouldn't make it the same team

1st of all, apologies for the lack of updates.
The trip down meant that a few beers were had, and then I spent the rest of the time shoutin and maybe doing the odd harlem shake!
Just wanna say that the game is done........we have 6 to go, and I still think we can do this.
Just got to play physical.......a lot more physical!!!!

I smelled the coffee; strong and bitter. Refereeing was iffy again but it made little difference overall.
