can't believe am going to see the stanley cup champions in March...wooohooo
good game this morning, well worth staying up for. Thought Tampa lacked belief after Stamkos rattled the iron in the first, Blackhawks were just immense these last two games, but despite being the better team this morning, at one goal, Tampa always capable of scoring and I couldn't relax til that second one went in. Roll on September, and March

watching the Ducks v Hawks game....Bolts would destroy either of these teams and think Rangers would squeeze the life out of them How did that work out for you? stand by my comment, from the Ducks series, particularly game 1, after which i made my comment, I thought both Ducks and Hawks looked a little predictable, heard hitting and maybe limited in the speed department and Bolts just looked on it! really fast, skillful and a nettie that looked almost unbeatable. thought the bolts matched them in first 4 games, maybe even better team, but Hawks found a way to win 2 of them, in games 5 and 6 Hawks overpowered them, i think the belief went in game 6 after Stamkos rattled the iron and the big mistake was playing Bishop when injured, though not at fault for goals his injury maybe affected the team (maybe playing back-up would have doen the same) I thought Vasilevsky looked solid as injury relief. Anyway, happy camper, my brother-in-law lives in Chicago and we're off there in March, would say they are my 3rd team, behind Habs in the East and St Louis in the West. |
