Did he get MoM because it was his 600th game? Some of the MoM awards this season have been embarrassing, should av either been Broony for the shut out or Kyle Haines for a solid performance topped off with a cracking finish for the last goal.

Coventry failing to score against us at the Old Barn this season. That's not half bad!

The MOM was an embarrassment once again. Who picks these? Danny played well but was well down the list of MOM candidates.
As for the game, another really good performance and a deserved win against a pretty good team. Flyers worked their socks off all night and there were good performances from Delahey yet again, Haines, Brown and Sacchetti.
A good win that should help us get closer to the play-offs.

Well fought, well deserved win. Great first period, probably scored against the run of play in the second period when Coventry had their only good spell of the game, game over when the third went in. Coventry's hearts weren't in it after that point.
Solid tireless performance from the Flyers, the good run of results continues.

The Fife Free Press pick MOM Its a good news story that's why they gave Danny it on his 600th appearance to cap the milestone. The players don't take much interest in the MOM to be honest they would rather the team won. The Fans made it clear who they wanted

cant help think last night was two points lost looking at that game Glass half empty tonight mate? It was the same the first weekend of the season. Home advantage makes a big difference in this league. Pretty impressive to dismantle one of the Southern teams like that under any circumstances. Whole team looks more confident at the moment. A lot of good performances but really pleased with the way Kyle Horne is playing just now after being written off by a lot of people. Delahey was quietly superb as well I thought. Roll on Saturday- if we can put another one over that lot we're well in the mix for the conference. Don't see why not either.

cant help think last night was two points lost looking at that game Worth remembering they had two imports missing tonight, one of whom scored two goals and was MoM last night, that's on top of the three players on GB duty.

Don't think Danny was too happy when the big numpty was laying in to Sacchetti and the rest of the top line stood and watched. The crowd got the better of Boris and he had enough........snap

What about big Boris eh? Must av thought to himself before the game 'oh well it's only the Flyers, I have a free reign tonight, I can be the big man without any repercussions'. the first two incidents he was nowhere near the play, third man in when he got the unsportsmanlike penalty, then when the goalie spilled the puck and it's loose T.J has every right to try and poke it home, but big Boris was having none of it, in he steps late again trying some rough stuff on someone half his size ( although T.J did manage to knock him over a few minutes later haha ) Then he took exception to Sacchetti trying to board him, Sacchetti was obviously unwilling to have a fight with him but big Boris had other ideas and decided to rain in some blows anyway. Whilst he was rightly punished heavily for the last offence by Craig, this sort of thing has happened all too often this season and hopefully will be addressed next season by getting in a player who will make your Valabiks, Didiomettes and Flemingtons of the league think twice about taking liberties on our players.

Surely a ban coming for Mr Valabik. In DoPS terms, a 'repeat offender' landing several punches on an 'unwilling combatant'. I mean Sacchetti never even had his gloves off and Valabik started swinging. A comfortable win against an understrength Blaze. Dundee picked up 4 league/conference points over the weekend. Manchester aren't going away. Of course it's nice to see Braeheads bottle crashing for a second season in a row. Not a bad weekend for us overall, shared the points with Coventry which keeps us in a decent position.

Tackle you beat me to it. Absolutely spot on. Sacchetti and the Fife Flyers organisation are very very lucky he didn't get badly hurt, and given the positive effect he has had since his arrival, him missing would probably have resulted in a very difficult run in. We could win the conference with a win next Saturday, but every time the players step on the ice they run the risk of being hurt by a goon like Valabik, and all because the coaching staff saw fit to not sign a tough guy, which is beyond incompetent. Since Valabik didn't get a match penalty will the incident be reviewed by DOPs? If not we should ask to have it reviewed to make sure Valabik misses a game or two to make the Coventry run in as difficult as possible. Craig was his usual S H I T E self. All coaches should start saying the things Thomson said after their game in Coventry. We should get a sponsor to pay fines for Todd so that he can speak his mind after the game. The only way things will change is if all coaches speak like Thomson did. Finally great to see how the home crowd can really influence the game. You could see how it affected Valabik. What a classless goon.

disagree that craig was *****, he let the game go some of our players are just as bad if not worse for the slashing behind the play etc. horne is too slow and slashes at forwards as they fly past, as does fox
