Never ! An error strewn performance, amongst many error strewn performances. Everyone was pretty weak, but I would have said at least Haines was skating and had some hustle about him. Only 3 that looked like they cared last night: Dingle, Haines and Rioux. Agree it was hard to pick a mom, i would have went with Haines or Dingle <- [never stopped skating all game] at points it seemed like he was trying to do it all himself. Which I understand, the amount of times our d looked up to the get the puck moving forward, the only options they had for breakout passes was static forwards.

credit where it's due, Giants were superb lastnight, fast, sharp, focused, as you'd expect from a team going for the title. Just shows how the intensity and quality of play from one team can really affect the other team. Amazing how things change when your so close to winning, ask Braehead (lastyear and this) or Cardiff (this year) those last few points to get over the line are always the hardest, til it's a habit Haines MoM, never, misplaced pass for their second and poor choice that led to their 3rd (I think). I thought Caig played with lots of energy lastnight. Lee needs ice-time to get his match fitness back, hopefully ready for this weekend

You know what kind of game the Giants are going to play, it doesn't change. It's going to be high energy, forecheck and smother the life out of you, relentless skating and give you no room or time to do anything with the puck and that is exactly what we saw last night.
I personally don't think Dutiaume knows how to coach against this style of hockey as it seems like he doesn't know how to break it down and we always seem to have huge problems against Giants
We certainly didn't have anybody with speed to skate round them last night, nor did we have anybody to power through them nor anybody with any skill to stick handle through them and our passing was not precise or slick enough to cause any problems. All it looked like we were trying to do was get the puck out of our zone to relieve pressure
Giants were dominant in every aspect of the game and you have to give them credit for a fantastic game that they thoroughly deserved.
Nobody looked fully committed nor fully interested last night and no way should Haines have got MoM, he was responsible for two Giants goals. I would have given it to Brown, he was the only one that stopped it from being really embarrassing

Horrible game from the Flyers. Played like a training session. No hitting, allowing Belfast forwards to ghost past 2 and 3 players, giving their D too much time .The players who have been rocks over the last few weeks all took a night off, particularly Sacchetti and Haines .How on earth did he get MoM? Hopefully they can drop the bad habits before Sunday. Just to rub salt into the wound the match report is a joke. Littered with errors, repetition and fails to reflect the game. I guess the same person who wrote it picked MoM. www.fifeflyers.co.uk/index.php/extensions/flyers-news/746-game-report-fife-flyers-vs-belfast-giants-1st-march-2016Yeah that report doesn't in any way reflect what I saw. That was a reaming.
