With the quarter finals fast approaching

anyone care to try to predict how it will go ?

Flyers v Storm

Devils v Blaze

Panthers v Giants

Steelers v Flames

if you fancy a stab at the last 2 games and the final winner too

not sure how the order goes for the next stage so I dont know who to pair with who lol

"Playoff finals weekend takes place at the Motorpoint Arena, Nottingham over the weekend of 7th and 8th April, with the semi-finals taking place on the Saturday and the third v fourth-placed match and Grand Final on the Sunday.

Seedings for the semi-final and final will be determined by the original quarter-final ranking, so the highest-placed team left in the playoffs will be ranked as the highest seed.

The highest seed will play the lowest seed in the first semi-final, with the remaining seeds playing in the second semi-final."

All the quarter finals look really hard to call. Coventry are in great form and Cardiff have looked more vulnerable this season than last despite winning the league comfortably. If Finnerty's plan is to hit us hard and rough us up then we could kill them on the powerplay. Sheffield have got better individual players than Guildford but Guildford play with great style as a team. Nottingham are in decent form and Belfast's form has gone off a cliff since winning the cup, it will be interesting to see if they can raise themselves back up for the play-offs. Despite all this I will go :

Devils to beat Flyers and Flames to beat Giants in the semis. Then Devils to beat Flames in the final.

look at the head to heads and if you go by them

steelers have owned the flames

devils have owned the blaze and pretty much everyone else

giants one is difficult both about the same win / loss record v each other but like I said giants for me

flyers v storm going by fixtures storm won 3 and we took 1 game going by that we better play very well to win the tie
