End of first Flyers1-0 MK fast paced period with a few big hits from the Flyers and a goal from Bulmer No idea how MK are bottom of league they have played well with Killeen making some good saves

A welcome two points against a hard working MK team. Game was scrappy at times but Flyers deserved the win. The Bulmer Cazzola Gauthier line was effective and dangerous all night. Good to see Cochrane getting a few shifts and he never looked out of place. Another poor crowd tonight. There seems to be little effort being made to get more fans through the door. Once again the ref Copeland looked well out of his depth with more soft inconsistent calls. Happy with the win. Hopefully two more points at Nottingham on Sunday to come.

Decent enough game tonight and well worth the win. Great kill on a 2 minute 5 on 3 caused by Copeland having a chip on his shoulder, he had earlier had strong words with Todd and rather than letting it go it was clearly still preying on his mind when he called a bench penalty on us for misconduct a few minutes later. Some kamikaze stuff from MK at the back which handed us 2 of our goals, in particular the mix up beetween Killen and Mazanec leading to the Goats goal could be a contender for giveaway goal of the season. Talking about the Goat I think he was very lucky to escape punishment for a high hit on Mazanek which forced the Lighning D mans head into the plexi. Bulmer looked dangerous throughout and deserved his MOM, also thought Cazzola had one of his better games with Pinkston again the pick of the D men.

What a game! The score is probably a fair reflection of the game, but huge credit to MK for never lying down and making a good game to watch.
Even greater credit has to go to their fans. That's why hockey is better than football. The 2nd goal celebration was something else. Good to see the home fans applaud them at the end.
The game? It was the Brett Bulmer show, ably assisted by Goats. They were unplayable at times and mixed strength with finesse.
Star for me though was Craig Moore. Took the puck out with skill, vision and accuracy. Despite being pressured he always found a pass. He will get caught in possession at some stage but he has been driving us on in recent games and just keeps getting better.
He must be the first Scots player we need to sign for next season.
A good game, where just about everyone played their part, from the team, the fans and even the DJ!
Just about everyone? Well Copeland's performance was just poor. Waved away by TD he showed he had became emotionally involved and called a slash shortly after, where none appeared obvious and with a flourish called a team penalty. He never recovered from that and just created more pressure for himself in a game where players were mostly self policing. You want refs to be commanding without commanding centre stage. Hopefully he is self reflective enough to learn from tonight as it benefits no one to have a ref perform at such a level.

Above comments are pretty accurate but for me the DJ is an embarrassment with his emotional and unrequired comments, he is meant to announce information about the game and an odd commendation and not try to be the star of the show, we are not there to see him. Copeland showed last night like the previous game he does not have the composure to be a referee at that level, perhaps he will mellow with time but until that happens he will have no respect from coaches or players.
Fair play to MK last night, playing with a short bench they kept things close till near the end of the game when only a couple of mistakes took the contest out of reach.

Thought the game was very even with Flyers just shading it. Think we should be seriously looking into signing a few MK players such as Wallace Baillergon and NM Killeen next season.

Why doesn't TD actually have a local goalie better trained then we wouldn't need an import one, BECAUSE like outfield players he has failed dramatically in that area over his long tenure he keeps reminding us of.

Quality British Goalies are like hen's teeth, If there was a local goalie as good as Owen or Killeen he wouldn't be playing in Fife his agent would be able to demand 3 or 4 times the wage Fife could offer him playing with an arena team.
