Embarrassing but expected result. A team gunning for the league title against a team that once again finishes the season crippled by injuries, there was only going to be one winner in this game.

I know as a season things have been good, bar some injuries we can all see we would be competing further up the table. But I just feel we are baby steps forward. Sometimes boys like bursa and Mackenzie get loads ice time then they don't, Smith hardly sees the ice if he's not good enough same with Cochrane then stop wasting money and develop. Todd's over reliance on imports is now a joke, when we have capable, young Brits sitting on the bench every week. It's times like this it bites us in the bum. Yet in the past Muir, Wilson, Gunn all got a fair crack and I don't recall any of them being near GB teams? How did they manage for all those seasons?

Just watched the highlights, what led to Basara's actions towards the end of the game. Appears uncalled for at that stage of the game and reckless in terms of possible penalties but I didn't have the stream.

I think it was a hit by Rutherford that put Pinkston out but there was no replay on the stream and I can't be bothered suffering the highlights to see if its there. Was a heavy hit but looked fair enough without seeing it again.
