Anyone heard anything about an in coming player. Was someone sitting with Toni and Jones in the lounge tonight?

This team and coaching staff are finished it’s clear to see and isn’t going to change. We will win a few games between now and the end of March but playoffs are looking less and less likely as each game passes. 11 wins 20 losses is an awful record and what’s worse is we are in free fall while teams around us are picking up the pace and winning games.

Pointless. The festive fixtures gave us an opportunity to at least stay in the Conference and get past a couple of teams in the league but instead we lost the lot because we stuck with this team when it was clear as day major surgery was required. No, we won’t win the league but the realistic aims should be; - to entertain - challenge for the Conference - mid table position that would give us a chance of POFW. - develop local talent - at leasts make the CC quarter finals! I can safely say we will achieve none of the above this season. One new player - an extra, will make minimal difference unless we somehow do what we’ve never done in years and sign someone mid season who will actually make an impact.

Can’t argue with any of that, the evidence is right there for all to see. Nico Sachetti transformed the team 3 seasons ago I think it was? Unfortunately the present team need 2 changes minimum, a power forward and a puck carrying D man....Oh how we miss Ian Young. What I can’t fathom is, surely when recruiting you look for different types of players with different attributes to balance the lines? but no, not us, let’s sign 5 stay at home, non productive import D men....madness, absolute madness.

Said it plenty of times before it’s just lazy recruitment, this year especially lazy signing the majority of average players up from around the league, I don’t think they’ve got any decent contacts or agents stateside

Tim crowder played well last season with Coventry is it not maybe more to do with the style of hockey we play that doesn't suit the guys we have so we the fans are getting short changed by not getting to see these players play at there best

To be fair to him it’s him goat and cazzola who are our top points guys and our best forward line.

I'm not disputing that waterboy but could it not be that is what is wrong with some of these players is we don't play a style that gets the best out of them

To put things into perspective this season the 3 Fife players are currently above Ben Lake in points, Lake is currently 32nd in the season standings. I believe he is playing in a different type of role this season but having a raport with your line mates is definitely a plus.

Ronnie that is where I think we go so wrong with picking players we don't find out the type of guys that suit others to get the best out of them which I think is unfair on both the players and the fans who don't get to see the best of those players
