According to FFP Ali who attended this event is in fact Flyers Media Manager. Did I miss that getting announced? Ali, is a Superfan with a camera - who wants to be in beside the team like a true superfan. He jump's around at the feet of the female Galactic Emperor along with the rest of the storm troopers in the office, but like star wars their empire building is needing stopped as it's ruining the club. They should walk away now and not next week, oh and you don't need to try to resign from a voluntary post just finish and leave it to the folk who actually would put the club before their own self agenda's and power trips! Can't wait to see their half a$$ed effort to auction off the jersey's for cash they aren't even giving to charity. I really feel sorry for the directors, but especially TM as he will get the blame for these idiotic decisions. Are you seriously suggesting that Mr Muir knows nothing about the plan to raffle the jerseys for club funds? I would find that hard to believe.

Storm don't have their sponsors on their pride jerseys (or other special jerseys, I think). I'm not sure why

The sponsors have paid for their name to be on the top for every league game...what is so difficult to understand about that. They have paid for it and the clique within the club have taken the decision to basically shaft the sponsors. This club has no shame anymore. Do you know that as a matter of fact or are you just using it to have a go at the club? Maybe the club have made the sponsors aware before anything was signed and sealed, that they won't have any of the sponsors on this specific jersey? Yes I know for a fact the sponsors were not consulted ..and do you think it's acceptable that ours is the only club not to fulfill their obligations to sponsors, as everyone else has..and ours is the only club not to give the event respect it deserves by sending some random who volunteers at the club instead of a player like every other club has...yes this is a go at the club and I don't apologise for it..this club has become an on and off ice shambles and other clubs fans are realising it and actually giving us sympathy on other social media platforms..this club is being dragged to the ground by certain folk in the organisation.

According to FFP Ali who attended this event is in fact Flyers Media Manager. Did I miss that getting announced? I’m sure that Ali is probably in a decent position to fulfil the position of Media Manager with his Kingdom FM connection, but surely he should be using more than just Twitter to announce events etc.

He reminds me of the DJ, just like the attention and sound of his own voice, also the need to feel like they are important! The club is being ruined by these people - get them out!

Has annoyed me a bit that Schaber and Finnuci made a school visit yesterday but yet the excuse for not going to the media event for players were they were all in training.
I totally understand that timings might not work and they may have done the school trip after training just I suspect the training excuse is not 100% true.
Not as if whatever they are doing in training is having an impact on their game anyway. Gonna stop ranting about this now as it makes no difference.

Video output be it promos player profiles etc are very low. Put our media up against the devils steelers etc and the difference is massive. Not really sure we can say he is in a decent position. In fact the argument is there to say he shouldn’t be doing the role given how bad we are at PR and comms to the fanbase!

If Ali has been in the position of Media Manager for any length of time, then he should maybe take a look at himself and the consistently poor media output or at least do something about it. The old cynic in me says that the Media Manager title was a newly created title, to deflect from the bad decision not to send Todd and a player to the Pride jersey launch

I still don't understand why 1, no sponsors If you want to keep them, you need to advertise, advertise, advertise their brand in support of yours, does the NHL miss out talking about their sponsors on TV breaks?)..2, Why we wouldn't send someone to a big PR event. Missing a training session isn't a big deal for one day for 1 or 2 guys especially when the guys at school will probably miss a session a week.

The club is an absolute shambles from top to bottom. It's quite embarrassing, to be honest.

That's fair enough. What about the pre-season jerseys - they were sponsor-less, weren't they? Didn't seem to be that much of a fuss back then. I'm glad it's got no sponsors on it. The jerseys look awful with hundreds of logos slapped all over it. Folk are making a massive deal out of nothing here.

Lets say you are one of the flyers main sponsors, your not on this top or involved at all in the pride weekend, one of your employees who happens to be from the LGTBQ community asks you why you are not sponsoring the flyers during this weekend/game. Not a great thing to hear or have to answer is it, considering you didnt get the choice. Imagine its customers of your business asking these questions. Or worse not asking you but asking others if you or your business has issues with being involved with this event. Kinda starts to look a little worse than just "Nothing" doesn't it. Now throw in the club and their efforts around such a high profile league wide event, Different top from rest of the league, no players involved in media day to promote it no coaches no owners. We have a person connected and part of the staff on gamenight saying it was because the team had training. Really thats it your captain cant attend due to a training session on Tuesday afternoon. so move training or let him miss it. think about that either the owner or our head coach has stopped our captain or another player from going to this event. Bundle all this together and it's not "Nothing" it's all something that puts a spotlight on how we do media and PR stuff so badly yet again. How easy is it to make the replica top for this weekend like the rest of the league and then send our club captain to a media day event to something that for large parts of the community here in fife will be a massive thing. Its was easy to get this right but yet again we have simply gone about this all wrong. How/why our media manager didn't flag this up as an issue is beyond me?

It is quite easy to understand why the don’t get it. It is because the work in an echo chamber they simply run what they are doing past each other. It’s like when you go down the pubs with your mates and solve everything wrong with the world. Everybody agrees in at the pub table but none of you have the power to make it happen. Same here none of them have the power to make anything happen and they all just agree things within their power which in this case was just send Ali to do the promo. Even if they had just asked one person outside the room they would have seen how daft that was.

The sponsorship is for every league game, which this is one...it doesn't matter if your glad or not, will you still be glad if the sponsors all pull their backing for the club currently running at about 150,000 because of this. Do you honestly think it's better for the club to stop having sponsors so there jersey I'd prettier in your eyes. Look at every other club in the league who appreciate the money it brings in.
