To be honest I think it's a bit of a disgrace if it's the case that the higher budget arena teams, are the cause of any season cancellation. As I am quite sure the rest of the teams would surely look at running a budget at half capacity. I know it might mean a lesser product for the big teams, but hey ho think of the fans. Also think outside the box, less imports, more from eu etc.

Belfast made announcement yesterday saying they will let their players move on for a year due to the restrictions here... anyone wondering that announcement was made yesterday and there will be a player signed in Europe this week??

Just out of interest, France at the minute has worse COVID numbers than ourselves, hockey is a very minority sport there, how on earth are they managing to play? Is it purely lower import numbers? Help from the government? I don’t have a clue but just wondering if anyone else knows how these other similar size countries as far as hockey go are managing to play the season
