How will they keep fans interested till say next August, between how last season ended with small attendances due to the product on ice then add folk finding other stuff to do at weekends and possibly wont bother as much about hockey. I can see it only getting worse and not just at Fife, but if they play a blinder on the media side and try get more engagement then who knows ....but what we do know is if they continue "The Fife Way" it will only end in disaster.

I'd be expecting Todd to be making some sort of impact on the Kestrels or Jnr development as a one off project, as their season will most likely go ahead. May we even see likes of McKenzie signing with Kestrels or other SNL teams? I know it's not directly flyers but at least it would show that given the extra time that they will take the chance to plan ahead and the young Brits being a priority.

I think that the season will be cancelled as well and the chance of Flyers management playing a blinder to keep fans engaged over the dry hockey period is virtually nil.
Coming of a terrible season with a terrible team and joyless uninspiring coaches and management many Flyers fans might well be completely disengaged with hockey by the time it restarts.

Are there any paid staff in the off season? I wonder if other clubs have staff still on the books whose role it is to keep the social media side rolling. Whereas Fife rely on volunteers.

I don't think Todd knows the Kestrels or Junior Development exists as he has never took an interest before. There are already good coaches in place for all the junior teams already. Players/coaches already been announced on social media for the Kestrels.

We can always rely on this forum for our off season entertainment and the moaning when there is news and more moaning when there isn't any news

This year is the exception to the rule due to the virus but if you think that Flyers are a well oiled outfit regards promoting their business you are VERY sadly mistaken.........jeez even the tumbleweed hasn't turned up this year yet.

No - they'd need to open the shutters first.

No - they'd need to open the shutters first. Will junior hockey, curling and figure skating generate enough income to put ice down?
