Just to make one positive comment on here I am pleased that we have some young guys ready to prove themselves. The likes of Young, Mosey, Delaney, Mosey etc are all examples of relatively inexperienced pros that came in and did a great job for us. I would much rather young guys ready to work and make a career of hockey than guys using Fife as a retirement gig. I will never comment on a player without seeing them so there are a lot of unknowns this year and I’m excited to see these young guys go out and play, That is our D core signed apart from a Brit. The difficulty I have is seeing who our first line pair is. We do lack some toughness on the back end on paper. I think we might line up as follows: D1: Naslund and Emmerdahl D2: Isaacs and Blumenschein D3: Lescovs and  Is there any chance we have signed McKee and will go with only 7 import forwards with Peacock and Bari on the wings. I can only hope this is the case because our back end does unfortunately look a little light although potentially quite skilled. Leonard or McKee would give us better balance, i think it would kill us going 7 import forwards, any injuries upfront and we’d be down to bare bones. I think the 8 import forwards gives us the depth needed. Personally what id do is sign 8 import forwards and 6 import defenceman then just rotate the 5 import defenceman on a nightly basis. 100%! This has to be the route we take ! Just no British D men out there left to get (Swindlehurst can’t see it) so fingers crossed this is what we end up going if we want to be as competitive as possible |

I think there's a big difference in skill and level of play between from where and when you played (Camperdown Stars - then re-named Dundee Stars, Perth Panthers Etc). Also, the level of criticism from a % of the 50 fans watching where you played, is no where near what watches and criticises the players at EIHL level. I don't think James is offering what you think he is offering, he's not that kinda guy! He will quite happy chat hockey with anyone who wants to talk the game.
