Many other refs would have called Fife for 2 pens in the first period. I can see what Toby is trying to do and keeping the game flowing. His 'warning' to Sol for his after the play x check was sensible too - not just for Sol but all players should have taken note.

You are entitled to that opinion.

I also have to agree with the comment regarding Toby. There's flow, then there's recklessness in his flow...especially when players get injured! He was quick to blow down on Peacock getting hurt, but not Haywood or Jones and possibly Magee. Both benches were livid with him at times and when EX-FIFE FLYERS players wait for him to leave the ice to shout at him, it truly tells a story! God help our game if we continue to leave guys like him as officials on the ice, he has a real chip on his shoulder and it's evident to see. It's time he left the game gracefully before we see another potential Ali Haddanou moment!

I can just about give you Jones but it's a blocked shot lower body that hobbled him, game isn't often stopped for that when the opposition have the puck. Livid benches, ex Flyers players and fans shouting at him, pretty sure that happens at 90% of games reffed by anyone at KDY. 


He's as arrogant as they come agreed. If you think we have another Haddanou in the league than that says more about the payers and coaches than it does of the officials.
