game over
giants 3 - 2 flyers
little bit of handbags after the whistle. which is pointless - maybe show that energy level and engagement during the game 18??? 18 has been playing like a bum.

24 again the best player for us, 28, 5, 15 did well
44 should be cut, he's awful.

Overall, a performance that is much improved to our start of season run. but to be fair, belfast didnt look like the usual giants teams we see here.
big chance for some points lost, but we were in the game for most of it, which was good.
going north we didn't look as good as we have, few forwards having off nights.
losing 15 to that monster hit is a really bad thing for us, my guess is that could be it for him for months.
if we could tighten up our passing we could win more. outlet passes from d and forwards working into the zone passes are more often than not bad ones, often easy give aways to the other team.

Stating the obvious but we made a howling feck up of that one! A result is a result and that’s why we’re sitting second bottom on the same points as Glasgow. We shouldn’t be a second bottom place team holding a team like the giants to a draw until a few minutes before the whistle. Thought the third line struggled tonight and were lucky not to be caught out a few times. I’m a big fan of Larry but thought he was off the pace tonight as was McKenzie again. An entertaining game but a few folk weren’t at the races. Hopefully bounce back tomorrow but storm will be looking to do likewise so won’t be easy on their little bit of ice

We competed with the Giants all night long until the howler while on the pp 2nd period there was a spell where the Flyers were completing their checks and the fans were really going 2 goals from defence men tonight Our big players working hard but never really gave Jones a lot to do Keefe knows he was lucky tonight That’s twice v Flyers he’s called a time out when we have been on front foot as he was worried that it wasn’t going their way We have a good team but we need to clean up the mistakes and turn the L to W We deserved at least a point tonight As for the clash in the corner at the end Things get said and sometimes you have to get things of your mind Nothing wrong with passion

Another entertaining game that Flyers might well have taken something from if not for some sloppy play on the late powerplay that gave Giants the SH winner. Sherbinin got Flyers off to a good start after 2.10 with a shot from the blue line that the goalie didn’t look too clever on. Giants had most of the play but didn’t create too much and Flyers led 1-0 after one.
In the second Belfast had lots of the play again but Flyers edged their way back into the game after Giants equaliser and were far from out of the game despite Giants outshooting Flyers 21-9 over the two periods.
A fortunate deflection gave Belfast the lead with eight minutes left, but Flyers got even with a powerplay goal from Hausinger at 56.19 and we’re handed the advantage with less than three minutes to go, but made a poor effort at setting up on the powerplay and never looked composed, resulting in a breakaway which Giants convert short handed.
Thought the hit that knocked Cameron out of the game was a bit low and would like to see it again. Another entertaining game that Flyers might well have taken at least a point from.

The flyers this season will continuously pay the price for lack of depth, and that comes down to lack of interest in playing Brits, or signing anything quality Brit wise, it would appear to give more budget to the import squad. Glasgow for example get two young boys up from Solway one an ex Fife player, and play them straight away. They don't have to be the best but it gives the imports a rest and improves the player at the same time.

We don't have fighters in our team apart from nickerson we have never had that in the elite league that's why teams take advantage of us
