Curious who you all have as your personal fav player to lineup as a flyer?
It’s not about who was best, that is redundant. It’s a question on who you have liked as your all time fav.
For me it was the classiest d man I’ve seen in fife - bill moody.

Tough one but I’ll plump for Al Sims.

Vincent Lukac
After seeing him and his fellow countrymen at their first training session I knew they were different class to anything before or after. However Smail and Moria came close.

I've been watching since the mid 90s. On balance it's probably Mark Morrison (definitely in terms of what he achieved, both as a player and as a coach). However, other standouts from various eras would be Bill Moody, Todd Dutiaume and Russell Monteith from the late 90s / early 2000s era, Greg Kuznik, Steve Briere and Dan Goneau from the last few seasons of the BNL. Not actually sure from the EIHL era - Casey Haines would be a good shout and Ned Lukacevic on pure talent (though he was inconsistent and totally bonkers).

Ned should have been so much better than he was for us. Bags of talent, but not much work ethic

Pre EIHL I was a big Kummu fan. Eihl era no doubt in my mind has to be Nickerson. I’ve never seen the rink explode like that on his debut. Still get chills thinking about it

Late 90's start for me... Import - Russell Monteith was the name that immediately came to mind... not seen a player like him since! Power play king Brit - Steven King... not seen a British player like him since either! Oh to have both Kings, Haig, Smith, Horne in this team... wishful thinking

For me as a kid it was super stevie Moria.
As previously mentioned though the 3 Czechs were on a different level.
EIHL
I would say Dingle

Some classics!
Montieth looked like it was always his first time playing hockey when you looked at him. By he was deadly in close, what a PP man.
Dingle has been a fav of mine in elite era, work rate always top notch.

Stoyanovich for me obviously.
Moria, Sims, Kummu, Monteith would also be up there, for a local player Gordon Latto

Best goalie I have seen in years Jersey would be Andy iles
All time fav I have to go with Moria but stoy and the Czechs very close.
Brit wise Gordon latto that one is easy

Doug Smail without a shadow of a doubt. Over 800 NHL games and still the only player to join a British club direct from the NHL barring the lockout seasons. He was 36 when he joined Fife and was still the fastest player in the league by a country mile.
