I thought nobody had told him he's playing and he'd just taken his kit off as hes done for the last month or so! I've heard that the Flyers kitman this season has been nothing short of hopeless. Players have been taking their skates elsewhere to be sharpened and worked on/repaired, so this doesn't surprise me in the slightest. The original flyers kit man went home months ago due to family circumstances.

I also heard that the experienced kit man that TC brought in from Canada had to return home a few months back because of personal reasons and that his apprentice / understudy had been filling in for him. Hats off to this guy because there’s more to being a kit man these days than chucking twenty tops in a washing machine and then hanging them up to dry.

Poor performance last night, disappointing as it would have been good to push for as high a league finish as possible Was a pretty strange atmosphere, busy but not very loud. Spent most of the game hoping the megaphone in the corner would run out of batteries Kestrels had a better atmosphere with 300 people on Saturday night than that fud managed to create with his megaphone on Sunday
