Looking decent. I’m hoping that the Dundee fan in the corner being the plexi glass has just earned himself a rink ban for racial gesturing I hope. Caught on the webcam. Imagine that, 1 st period of the first game of the season. Obviously won't be able to say exactly what happened but any general gists? Never had the stream so didn't see it. Dikhanbek was involved in a tussle towards the end of the 1st period in the corner. A Dundee fan standing on the other side of the plexiglass was becoming animated and clearly pulling his eyes directed towards Dikanbek

Why aren't we looking at two ways with NIHL team players, I know we have Kestrels boys but the consensus seems to be they are not good enough. All teams are doing it with decent players but we are just dipping our toe in with it. I suppose my question would be, how do you know we are not trying to get two ways with NIHL players? I mean it could be we are trying and being outbid by other teams or players want guarantees on ice time that we cannot give having not had a decent look at them in practice......Don't get me wrong we might not be trying and that would be unfortunate as I do believe we need additional British players to give guys a rest if only for a handful of shifts a night. Positive to hear Coach Coolen praise Kay and Spence last night and hope this is a sign that these guys are going to get opportunities to play (It sounds like Kay in particular has a chance to claim significant ice time)

Dundee are running 4 lines with Brits throughout the squad including Moore, Inglis, Garrigan, McBean, O’Connor then add Kelly and Saunders. The old chat about it only being arena or big budgets teams who can afford 4 line hockey is just twaddle! We run 3 lines because that’s how the owners want it. We have had connections with Solway before with Henderson and Page on 2 ways and more recently now Bristol. Why don’t we look at the Solway and Bristol squads and see who we can get on two way deals?

I'd like to think the guys doing the webcast/highlights see it, raise it, and the club do the right thing. By all means chirp/taunt players but there's a line you don't cross and he's cleared that line by a mile. Don't want to tar them all with the same brush but Stars fans have to be the worst in the league.

I think there has to be more to it than that. Guys who are in the NIHL aren't just going to move, with families and jobs etc, to Kirkcaldy. What would Muir's rationale for refusing to run 4 lines be? Does he want the team to struggle? Or is actually just a lot harder than we seem to think to recruit guys that are good enough?
