That's just it pick your spots or like the leafs Canadians game at the weekend. The habs fighters went for the leafs better players, cue Orr etc taking revenge on Gionta etc. people might not like it but that's how hockey is.
Look at Bowen from Dundee he gets very quiet when Jason looks at him- intimidation works.

Only worry with fighting is an awkward fall and wrenching a knee.

Doug Marsden was a master of the D man hip check 9 times out of 10 it was clean and no penalties. We have not had someone like that since. One of Marsdens hits used to make opposition players think twice. Our players are told not to fight we dont want goons like Olson for example, but last night JP should have decked Cingal before the end of the game or even Tommy Muir. The Caps dont have a fighter but our best player has been out for six weeks he is clearly struggling and the heart is over ruling the head but how else do you get match fit you play through the pain barrier. The Caps knew Blair was going to be in Goal last night had had a game plan to screen him and the pucks went in our d was AWOL with the rest of the team. Its good to support the Flyers at away games but when you looked last night the west side of the rink was fuller than the east side all that money spent at the gate and fuel to get the supporters over there for what to be humilated and line the Caps Coffers, if the away form is going to continue like that we would be better ploughing our money in to the Kestrils....rant over!!
