Welcome back to the line up Casey.
With our Captains return what happens with our lines for the weekend?
I know it will take Casey to get back up to speed but what lines do we run?
Does Casey slot straight back into the first line with Jason and Bobby? Or do we go back to what served us so well at the start of the season and keep Kris on the first line?
If Kris centres the second line do we put Danny onto the D to play with Tommy and go with 6 D or do we stick with 5 D and Danny plays with Kris and JD with Dutes going to the third line with Jamie and Gunny and Josh relegated to the bench again?
One player returning to the line up gives us a lot of options for this weekend

Not sure about lines, but just great to see the guy back in the team again. It's funny because it took me a while to see just how good he was, that's just from me not having a good understanding of hockey, as I would focus more on the performances of the defencemen and forwards. But it suddenly hit me how influential a player he is and just how much we rely on him to be the creative spark in the middle of the ice. Gets a great points return as well, but above all else he is a very hardworker and a great leader.
We've done fantastically well at home while he has been out particularly when you see the amount of goals we've thumped past the likes of Dundee, Hull and Edinburgh but he really is a big miss to any team.

Casey I believe has been working hard off ice, ok he's not going to be upto match speed but he should have enough in the tank to start on our 1st line. However, I wouldn't play him on the PK.
Lines for me are:
1. Pitts, Haines, Bobby 2. Hogger Stewie JD 3. Dutes Torch Gunny
Start scoony on the bench and see how the game goes. If the D is tired drop Stewie back but that is how I think we will start the game.

I would ease him back on the second line for the first period with Danny dropping to 2nd line defence. He could play defence on our powerplay line beside keller.

Have to play him with Pitts tomorrow and let Pitts, Caisty, Zach know that if anyone touches him, any cheeky slashes to the ankle they are going to have to pay the price. I would play him against Cardiff the physio is confident he can't make it worse and the guy is itching to play so you have to play him but as I said our physical presence needs to make it known you touch him and you will be dropping the mitts.

Not sure why people want dude on the third. Dutes has DEFINATELY been a better player than Danny this season. His effort has been class. He work in the corners is second to none. I also think the Todd wouldnt be the same with two brits around him. Whereas Danny could create something with two brits - mostly because he never passes the puck anyway. I think they might put JD on third because they are daft like that but personally id like to see danny on third and second being dutes-hogger-dolan

I think Hogg plays better as a winger, so having Danny on second gives you someone that can play centre. Again it comes down to us missing a second line centre.

New Imp is Tim Kraus - Ticks all the directors boxes
Not a Centre but he's better than NO 11th imp
