Really gutsy performance epitomised by Caseys extra effort in preventing the icing that led to the empty netter. Well done lads! Huge improvement on Sunday night. Well worth the trip through to Kdy on a school night! It was Chaumont and Caister that chased down the icing, the puck ended up on Casey's stick in the slot. He shot at the empty net, it was going in but Bobby stopped it and tapped it in. What really infuriates me however is it was clear all night that the Stars were targetting Casey and were sticking him all night. If Dutes' soft touch approach means Jason can't do anything about it, send Tommy out. He hardly played all night anyway.

Said exactly the same about Tommy who was benched after giving away the second goal, just put him on the ice to go with Hutchins and show them we won't be pushed around!

It was Wilson that gave the goal away. I thought at first the whole line would be benched but it may have been down to Dundee going with 2 lines.

Ending up coughing it up to the Stars player, may be wrong but he didn't touch the ice after that.

Big win tonight, Casey was superb and had a hand in all goals although Bobby was slightly cheeky taking the last one from him. Big point in the game was obviously the penalty shot which Daly produced a great save on.

Was Casey's short handed goal our first of the season? I can't recall any others...

Just had a look at the Stars forum to see what they were saying about the game tonight.
There was a grand total of 1 post !
Great performance from Flyers tonight, thoroughly deserved our win against a Stars team who got a bit hacky whacky in the third. Someone should have given Hutchins some chin music to straighten him out a bit.
