By the way I was pleased that we went back to having Caister and Keller on the powerplay in the third period instead of using Casey on the point and the unit looked a lot more secure immediately.
Also the third line looked a lot more balanced with Gunny, Jamie and Dutes on it instead of Danny and putting him on the D with Tommy.
I would be very happy if those two things didn't change for the rest of the season

I think Wands is going to try and skate this week, so when he comes back I think tommy will be playing with him.

I would be very happy if those two things didn't change for the rest of the season The lines were balanced on Sunday and it was good to see them just rolling. Too much mucking about with them on Saturday and it showed. The 3rd line of Dutes, Stewart and Wilson just didn't click on Saturday and IMO it's because they are all too similar in style. I'd have much preferred Gunn over Wilson as he provides more danger near the net, but was happy enough with Dutes, Gunn and Wilson and Danny on 'd'.

Personally, like i said as soon as we got our 11 skating, i think Danny will play forward for conference games unless we start to struggle and D for all Southern games.

{ If only eh! Great line up now. Would love so much to keep the same team and if todd or danny were to hang them up bring in a new guy and have the 11 from the start.. think we'd surprise people big time! } Care full that's what some of us have said since the start of the EIHL trail only to be described as Moaners,Whingers and other things to boot. Ahh Hahh You told me to get down to spec savers earlier in the season,Your first shot at the challange on Sat night, i was almost on my way down to offer a shot of my specs, youre next 2 wernt bad though!! Bit of stage fright?

I would be very happy if those two things didn't change for the rest of the season I have to agree with all of your comments. The powerplay has been weak and there has been a constant gap where the dman should be. We have tried it for a few weeks and it has cost us at least 1 short handed goal. If they put a forward in the d position they need to stay there.

Believe it or not, we actually have the 3rd best PP in the league. We have also conceded the 3rd most SHG (10), only Dundee and Cardiff are worse.

Zamboni, It was an embarassing effort at the s/s challenge, i didn't line up any shots at all actually unlike my previous attempt when i nearly put 2 right in the center. The kiddie of that exercise has to be Doug Smail when he almost slap shot his effort straight through the center first go, don't you just hate a show-off. lol ;D
