this is not good for scottish hockey, we just get all the top scottish clubs in the top league and then this threatens it, what happens if it closes, do the elite league let them play in another rink, or do they bring another team in. What other rink? The only other rink on Scotland that is remotely nearly suitable is Aberdeen. I can really see the areana teams agreeing to that? yeah i know the nearest rink is aberdeen bud, that's what am saying if they can't keep it open and have to find another rink they won't so no more dundee again that'll leave fife, caps and clan and 9 teams in the elite who would come in

Dundee used the FIA many years ago. More or less it was Flyers on a saturday and Rockets (maybe it was Tigers then not sure) on sunday. With all the fixtures in the Elite league I cannot see that happening now and have the junior teams playing there too.

So who gets kicked out Fife Ice Arena to make way for Stars, Comets & Tigers? as well as the other Dundee users also looking for ice. - I can see prices rising & availablity decreasing. - Who will have the session before the 6 am Saturday morning training? any volunteers

to be honest i cant see the dundee rink closing, it looks to me they have been a bit clever with claiming charity status and they have been caught, wether its true or not it has long been claimed that the stars pay little or nothing for their ice time, maybe some proper management will sort it. could it also be the case that the council would like to off load the rink to a private party and this is a way of testing the water

Dundee will be fine. Think they're just saying they'll have to look at cost cutting in places. Blown out of proportion!

Yeah dont worry about the people who will lose there jobs, the community or the young people who will have less to do, never mind the upcoming talent and the loss of the youth programmes. Not what i expected of anyone. U have read that totally the wrong away so before comin on and having a go.......think about it. My main concern is actually for the jnr development and also the effects that it may have on other scottish clubs. Its a major worry!

Hopefully, as its fun to have a bit of banter with them and hate them during the games(and after them if we lose) but it would be a disaster if they went out out of business.
