"What do you hope to achieve with the Flyers this season?" I just want to hear one player say "World domination". Go on - you know you want to!

I like how they're all talking about winning championships, I don't think it will happen but if they do, then good on them

It will mean different things to us as fans to them as players If you mean the league title I agree, possibly also the conference but winning the challenge cup or play offs are "easier" to win for a club like us and would winning one of them be considered as winning a championship

I don't really care which 1 they're talking about, at least they're all on the same page about trying to win something, it does seem a whole lot more positive this year from within. I just wonder if a big reason they turned over all the imports bar 2 is that the pennies finally dropped about all the off ice stuff and they've started to take it a lot more seriously, I hope so anyway.

I get the feeling it is being taken a lot more seriously this year. It felt different at the jersey launch and also last Sat within the rink. Whether that is a better professional approach or just pure optimism I don't know

Whether that is a better professional approach or just pure optimism I don't know Probably a bit of both. New boards, improved sound quality, new 'Zamboni' a general, tidy up and a lick of paint certainly improved the environment, and gave the impression that things are a bit more professional. Couple this with a good performance on ice, in fact within five minutes it was obvious that the new guys could play quality fast and physical hockey, and some optimism is warranted.

Say it as I see it, I have been negative because at times over the last few years the club have been a farce at times but it feels and looks different this season, really hope it is.
