I think the time limit has passed for DOPS intervention - I may be wrong but usually they show the incident and say its under review. If nothing happens its another example of the disgracefully bias league we play in . It must be ok after the game is over for your whole team to skate over the centre line and intimidate and assault Imagine if Matt skating up and starting this nonsense in an away rink - no additional penalty ? Hopefully they are not trying to bury this incident but the EIHL published interview with Todd stops before he clearly states - there is no place for any such action in the league especially with video evidence. I wonder why ... If nothing happens then DOPS need to explain why these actions are ok and why extra penalties are not required in this occasion and especially the ' need to control you team ' penalty Fannerty deserves. They really are Muppets Going on what we know from previous supplementry reviews when Flyers dropped the ball, by 6.00pm on a Monday night all suplementry requests need to be submitted (electronically) the ownus is on Club that means no day off for Dutes yesterday. This is then reviewed by DOPS panel on Tuesday then a statment by way of DOPS Video tape and audio commentry as to what suspentions are getting handed out by 6.00pm on Wednesday, given the amount of incidents this will take time, it wont be swept under the carpet it would make EIHL and DOPS laughing stock and yes we have been there before. In 31 years going to Flyers i think i have only seen one other incident like Sunday back in Hieneken days, Byers kicked this all off and the usual high penalty minute takers dinned out.

Guys It is less than 48 hours since the stramash Neither team has a game midweek So let’s assume it is taking time as a hell of a lot of material to review as well as the views of all 4 of the officiating team Something is going on otherwise why would Byers have made his announcement Also any match / game penalties are automatically reviewed So let’s trust the process What is of more immediate concern is the injuries to stoflet , crowder and aarson - cause no matter what penalties are given to storm they will not benefit us - we need to beat the blaze on Saturday and start a new winning streak What announcement did Byers make ?

"To whom it may concern, After the game in Fife & after shaking hands with their players and coaches i returned back to our end of the ice before the man of the match is announced. To my knowledge every team in the league returns to their own end for this. I, unknowingly, didn’t realise that Fife do it differently to every other team in the league. Once i realised i was alone with all of the Fife players i began to get verbally attacked from many of them. As a hockey player i stood my ground but not going any further than a few words back. This is what started a regrettable altercation that i had no intention of starting, which i believe the video shows. Dane Byers." I'd imagine DOPS and the league will be taking their time with this one due to the Storm's previous antics of sheer fuddery.

Byers Has played at fife more than once So this comment has no credibility The storm are a disgrace to the league and need to be punished big time Indivdual bans will not directly help us But imo they should be docked points for this event

I think there gonna be a lot of unhappy flyers fans when DOPS eventually respond...they will definitely not give out the expected big band to Storm...and would not be surprised for at least 2 to be heading Fifes way..it's the way the league works..there are certain teams and players within a league clique and for some reason Storm and Finnerty belong to this.

I thought a club couldn't show the incidents on the game highlights untill theyve been reviewed and revealed by dops. Maybe the club didnt pay the appeal fees?

The codswallop from Byers should be enough to appease DOPS. If anyone gets punished it will be us.

1845 on Wed 13th February and STILL no feedback from DOPS on Sundays game. I find this more than a bit worrying!
