Goat hammers a steeler and the roof comes of well no really but one of the biggest cheers in a long time that’s for sure.
They stood their ground for once didn’t take stupid penalties and blocked a ton of shots. That was a terrific performance that should have been on view 5 months ago.
Jordan Buesa take a bow kid you where in so many Steelers heads tonight. Cracking game from the young lad.
Gutted for Morrison’s yo miss the SO he played so calm all night long.
To late in the day but my god it feels good leaving the rink buzzing again after that.

If that game doesn’t tell the owners what fans want nothing will.

Even in the warm up Steelers were joking about, clearly thinking they had the game won before it even started. Then Vallerand tried to be last of the ice but Isaacs outlasted him and we won every battle from then on in, including the physical ones. Looked like a season's frustration coming out from the Goat in his personal battle. Refs did not lose the game for Steelers as they will claim. They got called on legitimate penalties and were so arrogant that they did not learn from the first couple of pens. 60 minutes of great hockey from the Flyers. Too late for this season but has the fans/directors session just made something happen?

Excellent 60 minute performance and a thoroughly deserved win. Flyers weathered a fast start from Steelers, but two goals in 25 seconds from Schaber, who I thought was definitely back to his best in the first, and Finucci had Flyers two up in less than four minutes. Sheffield lost their discipline a bit and Flyers took control of the period and a powerplay goal from Finucci put Flyers in three up after one. Steelers came out quick again in the second, but Flyers worked hard to keep them out and got back into the game and were on top again by the end of the scoreless second period. A tight third period with Flyers defensive performance first class as Sheffield started to rough it up until Gauthier gave Lemtyugov has tatties after a dangerous check on Cazzola, then Emmerdahl stood up to DeLuca and gave as good as he got in a fight that the refs bottled by calling it roughing when they should have gave DeLuca an instigator penalty. Steelers pulled one back ruining Morrison’s shut out with an assist going to lino Connor, who missed a blatant offside in the build up. No failures in the team tonight and the most complete team performance in ages. I would have gave both goalies MOM. A really entertaining game from both teams and much better than most of the stuff served up this season.

Couldn’t call that fighting after just watching the goat jack hammer Lemtyugov’s face.

Lemtyugov will think twice about answering the bell to The Goat again though.

And that's why I love the hockey and love the Flyers!!!
What a game! Three more home games left. Plenty of hockey left in this team!
Gutted for Morrison but delighted for Jordan Buesa. One man wrecking ball tonight. Too many others to mention, so easier to say everyone played a blinder.

Jordan Buesa not good enough for the Flyers Todd ?
I know who will be manager next season but please listen to us fans.
We need and want our Brits to assist the imports and should deserve a regular spot in any Fife Flyers team or don't sign them.

Following Fans Forum with Directors last Tuesday We should be signing The Goat for next season The guy has been different class this season We say it every season but it never happens. We will loose the goat this year for sure as he will be head hunted and we cannot compete with the offers he will receive. Directors please venture like back in 84/85
