Watching the live stream, which is great btw. But! What i had to listen too was nothing short of disgracefull. What a credit to the youngsters some of you guys are. Is it some kind of inbuilt part of a Dundonian's psyche that you need to post about Flyers fans and their supposed disgraceful behaviour? It's a total bore. I've stood near the Dundee support at DIA several times recently and it can get a bit choice in there too... But then again- who cares? I've read about Dundee fan's behaviour on other forums but I don't make a point of spreading it about. It happens everywhere whether folk like to believe it or not.

100% accurate Waterboy, most embarrassing moment of the evening watching five foot nothing, ling standing in centre ice making chicken impersonations, and watching all the fife team skulking away, for all our imports are skillful players there is no size or toughness to stop big physical teams totally dominating us, no positives at all tonight. Not read the next two pages to unsure if anyone has commented on this already but i think you'll find he is the chicken and scum. Danny wanted to go with him and he said he but Lepine or Wilson will.. Total scum and cowardness. Then when Danny wouldn't fight Lepine, Ling does the chicken dance? Boils my blood. Horrible horrible unclassless player. My most hated player in the EIHL the man is a twat!

Ling has no class ? the Fife fans were giving him pelters regularly so he deliberately took penalties just so he could sit in the box to lap the abuse up and to rub it in he comes out of there and scores a goal instantly, oh and he can fight as well by the way don't let his size fool you. Cowan was very poor tonight but Flyers were well beaten by the Panthers, it was men against boys end of story.

Flyers never had any puck possession or hardly any territory in Panthers zone and even at 2-3 down we never looked like we knew how we could go about hurting them
They kept put pressure on Haines and Keller every time they had the puck so we could never get anything going.
All the goals in the first period we gave up were preventable, first Bryan mishandled the puck, second was a bad line change and third was a bad bounce from the back boards into a crowd in front of the net and should have been cleared.
No Dolan for the second or third periods and if he was benched then that was the correct call as three times the puck was dumped into his corner and he was in front of the Panthers defender and ended up second to the puck as he didn't want any of the checks that would have been coming if he had got to the puck first in the corner.
Flyers were never at the races against Panthers

Couldn't agree more. As Ronniemac says men against boys. Nottingham showed us how hockey should be played. Hard, fast, physical and some clinical finishing to boot. And a local lad getting MOM, says a lot about how many of our imports showed up for the game last night. Let's hope they were keeping it in reserve for tonight against Hull, although with our away record, I won't hold my breath. Either we couldn't or wouldn't (The so called Fife way I keep hearing about) stand up to them physically, and were just bullied all over the ice. Got to give credit to Nottingham, what a team. They aren't top of the league for nothing, and after last nights drubbing, it shows us we still have a long way to go if we want to compete in this league with the best of them. Even when we had a PP, it didn't look like Nottingham were a man short. Disappointed with the score last night, but maybe we were shown up for what we are, as Nottingham seemed to just step it up a gear or two in the second period, and we couldn't match them, unfortunatley. You'd have thought at times we were still running with 8 imports...... I did think the local lads had a good game, at least they looked like they were trying.

Yes the local guys kept trying. We have wanted 11 imports all season but 11 were not playing for the team and with passion last night.

I may add that the top teams have 2 coaches on the bench to run the team. Flyers have ours on the ice which is always more difficult. We will never have the funds to match the top teams.

If Ling had gone with Danny, Danny would have got a real fright, as ronnie said Ling can handle himself just fine. Take a look at his AHL stats the guy is not afraid to fight, for me he played a smart game. Wound up our guys all night and bagged a good few points. Said this earlier but wish he played for us.

I'm pretty sure Danny would know Ling could scrap. People seem to forget Stewart did his fair share of scrapping to before he came to Fife.

Danny knew that with the score the way it was there was no point in dropping his gloves against Lepine or Ling something we know he is capable of, the bigger picture was looming starting with Hull today, lets hope they are hurting enough to take 2 points from them. Coaching, as has been said all season 2 on the ice mostly together doesn't seem the thing to do, last night again screamed out for a decision maker on the bench, jeez there wasn't even a time out called to try to stop the rot. Even NHL teams have blow-outs and the guys will know that so lets hope last nights embarrassment has the desired effect.

Is it some kind of inbuilt part of a Dundonian's psyche that you need to post about Flyers fans and their supposed disgraceful behaviour? It's a total bore. I've stood near the Dundee support at DIA several times recently and it can get a bit choice in there too... But then again- who cares? Firstly, im not from Dundee im from Arbroath, im a hockey fan who travels to alot of games all over Scotland, i go to alot of Dundees home games as it is the closest rink to me. I have been to Kirkcaldy numerous times to see the Flyers and enjoyed myself and the fans there. The difference is, i get to choose where i sit when i travel, so i choose not to sit where i believe there are people who will swear and shout. And i know it happens at all rinks, i dont have blinkers on. Last night i chose to watch the live stream, and was disgusted by what i heard, personally i think the positioning of the camera needs looked at if this stream is too continue. As a parent it is our responsibility to protect them from certain things, and i could clearly see kids and familys on the live stream who could hear this language and see the aggression, so its in my 'psyche' to protect my kids from this, and take them to a family sport where they can enjoy it. I believe the live stream failed on that part. So alot of parents probably disagree with your "who cares" quote

So alot of parents probably disagree with your "who cares" quote To be honest it's the fact it keeps getting brought up on forums by Stars fans who's agenda is to make Flyers fans look as bad as possible. There's one guy in particular on THF who seems to have a life mission of slagging Flyers fans as often as possible and he actually seems to believe Stars fans are a completely different breed (also a Stars players Dad I believe). The 'who cares' is more the frustration at reading this constantly and on forums where nobody can do anything about it. Complain to the club and not on a match thread on a forum!

Didnt even know there was a live stream last night until Casper posted on the forum was it just a fans stream or did I just miss the club publicising it?
