Can we keep our 100% record in the Challenge Cup?

Not really that important, we have qualified, better we watch that we don't pick up any injuries or suspensions from hutchins ans his tactics of dirty late hits and stick offences behind the play. As long as we come out of this with a full squad I will be happy

I think the opposite, this game is very important. We need to show Dundee that we are a not the same team that they beat at the beginning of the season and get a win to increase our confidence away from home. I agree about the injuries and suspensions though.

I agree about the injuries and suspensions though. Agree. Also, it's better to finish as high in the group as possible. If we finish 2nd we may avoid Nottingham and Sheffield.

I'm in two minds.
I agree that a show of strength is needed but I also feel this is a good opportunity to give Blair and Bean more ice time.
I think Todd will go with the first option though.
Anyone know if Hutchins ban is up?

Anyone know if Hutchins ban is up? Yes his ban is over he played in the midweek game against Sheffield which stars lost 2-1 Hutchins has not learned his lesson 6minutes in penalties high sticking and cross checking. He cost Dundee the game as the resulting Sheffield PP they scored the winning goal.

Not only did we not win, but we didn't even come out of it injury free.

Anybody who blames the ref doesn't have a clue. It was turnover after turnover and penalty after penalty. Chaumont is total ****,Reber doesn't look like he wants to play for the flyers and roehl just tries do everything himself, contois didn't do any better but the flyers spent the majority of the night on the penalty kill. Total gash!

Nope, no ice time for Bean and Scoony even got more ice time than Gunny but that was probably due to the penalties we took in the second
First period we were fine and were even shooting more but then second period we ran into constant penalty problems again and two powerplay goals again cost us but sometimes we don't help ourselves and Danny taking the delay of game penalty by deliberately moving the Stars nets off to give them a 5 on 3 was just stupid
Our powerplay was a little better but all we seem to be doing is trying to set up Bobby for the one-timer and at the moment he couldn't hit the proverbial barn door.
Thought it was interesting that when we pulled Regan for the extra man that neither Contois nor Reber were on the ice.
Dutes tried numerous forward combinations except putting Reber and Fulton together.
Stand outs were Regan, Roehl, Pajic, Hartung and Muir.
Doesn't look to good for DaCosta, from where I was sitting it looked like he had his left arm in some sort of sling under his sweatshirt.
Dundee are nothing special and again seem to be relying on a very good netminder and in Rawlyk and Sacchetti they have very good players

Thought the guys played well tonight a lot of good effort. Certainly matched Dundee and come a long way from the pre season games. Down to 9 imports as Dacosta pulverised in to the boards by Bagron he had his arm in a sling by the looks of it hope its not long term. Again we gave away 22 minutes in daft penalties too many 5 on 3 pp to Dundee and 2 pp goals. Solid performance from our D and Hurtung getting back in to the thick off it At full strength I don't think Dundee would have scored against us, two of the best goalies in the league on show tonight. We need to get better on the PP and stop giving away daft penalties and hopefully start scoring more goals. Next up Sheffield we need to make FIA Fortress Fife again, over the two games this weekend the fans have not been as vocal with their support, for good cause I hasten to add but we need to get behind the guys and give them that much needed lift.

Reber is fast but doesn't seem to know what to do once he gets near the net. Roehl is one of our best players so far, gives it all every night and is unpredictable which makes him hard to play against. Contois again is fast but always goes through the same motions, he is at the moment to predictable, always does the same thing. As for Todd, how can anyone say he is a bad coach after last year? We will see shortly how good a coach he is by how quickly he rectifies the current on ice problem, whether that is getting the players hungry or replacement of a few.
