Let's not compare these 2, cloutier played over 500 games in the AHL and has had a great career at a much higher level than dutaiume ever had. Dutaiumes older and has had a horrible injury. It's over for him.

Let's not forget that Steve Moria only recently retired at the grand old age of 51! Tony Hand still going at 46. Eddy Courtenay retired at 42 also.

You do need to look at Career, background, League Environment and each individual.
There are some who can play to a ripe old age.
For me, Todd hadn't really played at any real level for quite a number of years, EIHL Season 1 obviously ended in tragedy, Season 2 ended with what was described as an injury that would end a 21 year old's career. I just don't think his body is capable of returning to the level we need in order for us to compete.
Fortunately, it's not my decision :-)
