Giants go to court over puck leaving ice

If clubs get sued for that amount everytime a puck hits someone clubs would be sued out of existance.

jesus, come on eh, if you go to a sporting event in which the players use sticks , pucks, balls etc, there is the potential for not just the players but fans to get hurt, and this is something you must take in to consideration before going. end of the day you go at your own risk to enjoy a great sporting event, things happen but to try and sue them ha ha ha ha ha

Total joke.

I remember a few years ago in Fife somebody just about got wiped out by a flying puck, and they were more than happy to accept a broken stick signed by some of the players as compensation! Think it was presented to them by someone like Bill Moody in their bed at the Vic with the FFP photographer in tow! Some things money can't buy when you're a true hockey fan.

Same when folk ended up in hospital with smoke inhalation that night they let off those fireworks inside the rink in the 90's. Only thing the fans were interested in was being out of hospital for the next game.

What next? Clan fans suing Braehead for mental distress because they don't play The Macarena over the PA one night?
