We sung it in our little corner when it was played at the start but it didn't seem to catch on with those people around us.

Not surprised there was zero participation - a thread on this forum is seen by only a handful of the total audience so it can't develop any mass market appeal or involvement. ... and it's a rubbish song!

thanks guys. I thought it may have worked and got the barn rocking. It never worked, practically nobody knew what it was, it was a total damp squib. Only thing worse was the Geordie Munro mascot ! Oh dear !

I didn't make it to Braehead on Wednesday, but from what others have told me the atmosphere there was poor. The fans only seemed to react to the DJ and a set playlist of songs. I'd hate for Flyers games to go down this route.
I think Todd got it right in the Belfast video last week when he said the Fife crowd get into the game on the back of effort from the team. A goal, big hit or a shift where the line or an individual does a lot of work. We saw this last night when Bobby Caumont threw a big hit in the first and again when Dutes worked his socks off keeping the puck along the boards in the Belfast zone.

I'll hold my hands up and say it wasn't a good idea (we'll be coming). I agree with dirkster23 in that the Flyers' fans make their own atmospher. What a night it was.
