If the whole place chants that on Saturday it would make one hell of a start for a promo video for Ross to work on.

Only if we can wear see you Jimmy hats, have saltires painted on our faces and munch on deep fried mars bars too?
Why don't we just leave this one to the tartan army? We can be a proud Scottish club without covering our strips in tartan, encouraging fans to turn out wearing kilts or nicking Scottish football song.

Pardon me for trying to bring a bit of fun into the building. Maybe we should just sit on our hands or politely clap.
As for it being a song belonging to the Scottish national team, maybe you should check the origins of it.

As for it being a song belonging to the Scottish national team, maybe you should check the origins of it. The Liverpool version about Bill Shankly? Hardly relevant. "We'll be coming down the road" is about THE most famous song of the modern day TA and should be reserved for Scotland internationals - football ones at that. You want a bit of fun in the building - get a goalie race organised instead: www.youtube.com/watchv=BJeHCNrjcpo

It didn't start off as a football song.

If you ask members of the public they'll overwhelmingly tell you they associate it with the Scottish national football team. The link you posted is even titled "tartan army, we'll be coming down the road" and has wee cartoon characters wearing Scotland football gear. I'm all for improving the atmosphere on match nights, just not sure why it always has to be something Scottish?

The club play in tartan jerseys so I just thought it would create an atmosphere to sing a song that everyone could join in to make some noise. I'm not asking people to wear silly hats, kilts or anything tartan. I just thought that this song would create a hell of an atmosphere.

I don't see why any song should be out of bounds for us to sing as long as it isn't offencive or abusive. Anything that can get the crowd going will make the barn an even more difficult place for the opposition teams to come and may encourage new fans to come back if they have a good time.

The club play in tartan jerseys Hopefully only for 1 season though! I see where you are coming from with the song and trying to raise an atmosphere but it seems a really strange choice considering all the football fans you are trying to attract to the game on Saturday with the offer - they fully understand the unwritten rule that this is a song to be sung when supporting your country and never when supporting your club. Sorry, but its just not the time and the place. A full house and an explosive start by the team is all you'll need to get an atmosphere in the building.
