Great to see Braehead Clan get together for the benefit of up and coming young players with up to five young Sharks to be signed on two-way contracts to experience what it's like to be part of Scotland's fastest growing pro hockey club. Full details on www.braeheadclan.comThose of you Flyers bods who seemed to take great joy out of Clan not having their own junior programme can now apologise! This will be excellent for both clubs and is an avenue for youngsters to aspire. What better place to start than Solway - with a career path to Clan if you have to talent and work ethic to want it enough.

And obviously by saying Clan now have their own Jr development programme you mean Solway's Jr development programme.

Braehead don't have their own junior programme, as pointed out, they're using Solway's. Need to try harder with the wind-ups jamestkirk

This is a fantastic job by Clan - I didn't say it was their own junior setup but it is the bast of both worlds and is a career path for the best youngsters. You clearly cannae have it within yourself to praise forward thinking!

But you're asking folk to apologise for saying that Clan didn't have it's own Junior programme. Which implied it now did. There are times to stoke the coals to keep the fires of rivalry smouldering, this isn't one of them
