Imagine you had a meeting with the Directors and were asked to put forward your opinions on what you as a paying customer would like to see happen to improve overall match night experience, what would they be? put your relevant points forward, it might just help
I would like to see following,
Players in two weeks before start of season and pre-season challenge game weekend like season two
Full Roster from day one i.e. 12 Imports
Regular signing updates during the summer, this got better this season
Improve the netting at sections D, E, F
Address PA System issues
More interaction with junior development and an update from the Coach on young talent coming through the ranks
A Guest WI-FI so fans can log on between periods and get up to date score information from around the rinks
Regular updates from Match night announcer on Scores around the rinks
The 50/50 why one winner if we had say 5 winners splitting the 50% of takings surely this would generate more interest
Queuing issue on Match Nights needs to be improved as its a bottle neck at present
There are many more but feel free to add constructive comments as I believe Rink management will browse Forum and might just implement some of the comments.

In addition to your suggestions I would relocate the supporters club table perhaps to the skate hire. It's quite busy and cramped in that corner with kids waiting to get autographs from the players as they come off the ice after warm ups it makes queuing for the table near enough impossible, the queue often reaches back to the shop blocking the shoppers from getting in too. Get the drainage looked at in the ladies toilets, a few extra loo rolls each match night wouldn't go a miss either. Oh and a big thumbs up to the security guy who was turning people away from the disabled toilet/baby change who were using it out of convenience. Being disabled myself it was much more pleasurable to go about my business without having to wait for a dozen people going in before me. Fix the stairs leading up to section J, top step before the platform someone is gonna put their foot right through it soon! These may seem like silly trivial things to most however they are my personal opinions to improve my match night experience next season

One thing thats been bugging me is the management (or lack of) at the standing areas. A set amount of spaces for each standing section that have designated tickets would be nice, I love the spot I stand in but hate that I have to arrive at the rink an hour (sometimes earlier for games such as Braehead) before faceoff to secure the spot. Each section realistically should only have around five people at it, not four rows as it has been at some of the games.

Smoking shelter moved would be nice or a handle on the external side so smokers can go in and out without the door being left open and those in section h have to feel the draft.
Security moving children sitting on the stairs,
Rubbish bins being emptied in stairwells more frequently - has been an improvement lately.
Skate with the flyers should be free to kids at xmas - after all parents donate to the charity nights, foodbanks and present appeal for vulnerable children at Xmas.

All great suggestions that are so obvious we should not really have to point them out.. I have raised the issue of having a proper preseason a few times and others have raised replacing the netting with a white net. It was suggested my a few forum members that the owner would never do these as they cost too much, which given crowd sizes should not be. We have a family season ticket which costs over £1000 and I won't renew until I know who is playing. I was wondering if it was workable to have some sort of season ticket holders meeting to collectively petition for certain improvements. Season ticket holders after all front up all or some of the cost of the ticket which must be an enormous cash flow benefit and collectively we must have some sort of ability to influence. Two other suggestions could be to get a reliable Zamboni and resurface the car park.

I can't recall the existing Zamboni breaking down. Any issues it's had have been down to either the gas cylinder needing replaced or some dafty leaving a puck on the ice after warm-ups and it swallowing them.

On the subject of the supporters club. Get announcements of what they are doing over the tannoy including when buses are going to away games and how much it costs, not everybody is on social media and how many new fans have come in this season am don't know they can go to places like Nottingham and Belfast

Totally agree with you there Harlan, I attended my first FFSC meeting last night there's so much more could be done with the supporters club. The meeting lasted all of 10 minutes which was frustrating as I'd driven the 45 minute journey to get there from Dollar. I will be signing up next season to get a full year's experience of the FFSC.

The two things that have stopped the four of us going to many games this season are linked...
1) Inability to purchase four tickets together online if it means leaving a single seat. (you can do this if you turn up and buy at the rink though)
2) By the time we can get to the rink, the Section we want is usually gone, so we sit behind the goals where the view is restricted due to the nets.
The 10+ games that we've missed this season due to this = £500 to the club. Probably enough to buy decent netting.

resurface the carpark and have decent lighting there too get rid of the DJ and get someone in to be PA (DJ and PA are two different jobs) proper pre-season with imports in a month before season starts one or two food/drink sellers roaming the seating to sell stuff which will alleviate the queues in the cafe/bar better arrangements for ticket purchasing between periods, takes far too long just now, whether thats a card with personal details or touchscreen units in the foyer if we have an away section then thats where away fans sit, otherwise scrap it apply pressure for a proper development programme for officials with longterm goal to have fulltime officials have a plan with short to medium term goals to develop and retain local talent fixtures generated by computer so we don't overload playing the same teams 2 or 3 weekends in a row, or all games against a particular team before/after christmas collaboration between all 4 Scottish clubs to promote the sport more (starting with STV Edinburgh which is a vacuum that needs filling) since players are effectively part-time, a rota with them teaching school kids to skate and coaching basic hockey skills during the day (not directly match night but throwing it in there)

Can't remember where I think it was Durham or hull but that would be great save me so much effort haha
