Hello all, This is my first post on the Flyers forum (I'm a Blaze fan, don't hate me!) but I wanted to let you guys know of a little hockey project I've been working on over the off season which might be of interest to some over here. The project has been to create a stats and analysis blog for the EIHL. Well, it’s finished and up and running in time for the new season and you can find it here: The idea is for it to act as a single space where fans of the EIHL can access insights and statistics on all teams and players. It also has a pre-season analysis with a breakdown of how the teams shape up against one another on paper. Hopefully some amongst you will find it interesting and illuminating and that some of it’s insight can serve as a good conversation starter for this thread. Explanations of the project and all the stats can be found on the site so I won’t rattle on. Cheers, ToJ71. P.s. the site doesn't work on mobile so please check it out on a computer

Great work, looks really interesting. I looked at it on an iPad but will review on my lap top over the weekend. As a Blaze fan you must be pleased with your new signings and looking forward to the season. Weber has a built a solid looking team that will do very well. If we can get two points from next weekends games against you, we will have done very well. It will be interesting to see how Lukacevic performs for you. I predict he'll be great for a few months, and then will get bored and stop trying. When he is up for it he is absolutely fantastic. Problem last season was that far too often he couldn't be bothered. All the best.
