Some guys on here complain oabut our home-grown players being useless while other moaners complain about the locals not being iced enough.
Me? I have nothing but admiration for every last one of them. They are all truly committed to the club and are prepared to fit in with the game plan, even if it doesnt always included all of them. The fans ackbowledge their dedication, and give tbem non-stop backing at cvery opportunity.
They are not, however,as good as our imports.

I'm stuck with them, a few are good to fill in and do a role, Muir and Gunn probably the best, Wands has proved me wrong when he's played this year, I think we can all agree whether you think they're good enough or not, why bother signing them, and paying them to bench them, And at the same time over playing guys in their mid to late thirties. Even if you only played Gunn and Muir regularly is that going to severely weaken the team? Probably not, i think Jackman looks like he's going to fall apart at some point this season, Muir should be giving him shifts off and keep him fresh for the PP and Gunn should be playing regularly on the third line, id still prefer a couple young guys (if there's any) on the bench opposed to Wilson and Scoon

We've got 6 import D just now, why not release 1 of them, release Wilson and Scoon, sign Davies and someone to cover Stockton, surely that would balance out roughly in terms of wages

The Brits we have aren't the best in the league but actually they're alright.
Wands and Muir looked pretty damn solid when we had that run with four d-men. Are they significantly worse than Sullivan, McGiffin, Greiveson, Plews or King?
Look at Cardiff they brought Myers in this season but before that they had Piggott and Jones doing a job as defensive forwards to soak up some minutes and help on the PK. Surely Wilson and Scoon could manage that? Gunn could happily play on our third line and make a significant contribution.

Why have they not signed Dolan he's on the doorstep and trained with the club and now we are talking about Davies who will be significantly dearer.

That's crazy he has put up better numbers than all Flyers brits put together and can travel to the rink whereas the like of Davies will be much dearer and need accommodation, doesn't appear to be the owners normal pattern.

When Dolan was with us I though he was pretty good especially when he played with Hogg... but after watching him last year, is he that much better than Gunn? He probably offers a bit more but not much now, but Davies is another level to them both. I doubt this theory but maybe Tam said no because the deal is in place of Davies failed in USA?

Kyle Follmer has been released from Quad City, think Todd wil try again? If he was refused a visa the first time, I doubt that will change a second time around.

They already have a D man playing on the wing and 2 D guys riding the pine, why would they add to that?
