The commercial side looks to be far better than in previous seasons, but the club maybe could be making more commercially if just a wee bit more effort made. For instance the kit sponsorship in the programme doesn't give any prices. Surely if prospective customers knew what prices are for these relatively cheap items, then more might be sold, leading to more money for the club. The club shop is also better, but I offered hockey books free of charge to sell, a couple of years back, which would have made 100% profit but my offer was declined. One of Kdys charity shops benefited instead. In addition I think if the club portrayed a more professional outlook, then it would be easier for the commercial team to generate more interest. There are so many things about the club outlook that is amateurish, including the website, social media, press releases and of course the mess that is the "match night experience" which is truly awful. Someone else suggested half season tickets, which I think is a great idea and if marketed properly might well generate some much needed income. I am sure that many kids and adults alike would love a half season ticket in their Christmas stocking. A proper supporters club, supporting the club both in person and financially would help. It has been done in previous years and could be done again. Raith Rovers have just announced that their supporters clubs have made a donation of £14K to assist them in their present tight financial times.
