Apologies if this has been brought up but what does everyone think?. Personaly the only way it is working it to help the teams travel up and down the country less. which is good but i thought the point over all was so that when you combined the confrence for the leauge i would be all over the place but it seams to be the usual so far. 1. nottingham 2.belfast 3.cardiff 4.sheffield 5 coventry. (the "top5") then its 6. braehead 7.dundee 8.fife 9.edinburger 10.hull. Its just my thought on it but would like to hear other peoples opinions.!?

I'm sick of hearing Dave Simms trying to convince us that it is. Every time there's a close game, the conference setup is the reason.

They don't want a setup where they can be beat. They just want the appearance of being competitive. They somehow convinced to up to 11 imports. Just to make sure they stay out of reach.

Personally I think it is better and it's a step in the right direction. For once, I actually agree with Simmsy. Even if the rankings in terms of 1-10 stay the same, the fact is that there will not be any 40 point gaps like there was last season.

Last nite was an example of how it's working I think, bigger crowd because of what happened the other night where as if we had to wait a month to play them again it might have died down. I think it'll benefit the teams in our conference in the long run in terms of probably increasing crowds and less costs for away games. The league is basically split into 2 regardless anyway.

Some very good points there. i know things that happened in dundee help raise the crowd but we cant compete wth the crowds they got at the motorpoint arena. Sell-out!! If the leauge system was working to mix up the whole lot of the teams rather than the north/south devide crowds would be up all year round.
